NBA Picks Dec 3-9

NBA Picks Dec 3-9

Basketball is in full swing and here are my trio of NBA betting picks for the week Dec 3rd to the 9th. Happy hunting!

NBA Picks Dec 3-9

Philadelphia 76ers at Toronto Raptors
When: Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 8:00 pm ET
Where: Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, ON, CA
TV: ESPN

Analysis: With a 20-4 record as of Dec. 1, the Toronto Raptors appear to be running away with the Eastern Conference. One team could stand in their way, though.

The Philadelphia 76’ers, Jimmy Butler’s new team, is 16-8 as of the first day in December. Philly ended November by winning 3 in a row. The 76ers beat Memphis 103-95 on Dec. 2. Philadelphia takes a couple of days off before traveling to Toronto.

The 76ers have a big shot to not only cover as a dog but to beat the Raptors straight up. This is the case of a hot team with a new, excited player battling a team that might not take them as seriously as they should.

Pick: Philadelphia 76ers

Golden State Warriors at Milwaukee Bucks
When: Friday, Dec. 7 at 9:30 pm ET
Where: Moda Center, Portland, OR
TV: ESPN

Analysis: The Warriors haven’t played great heading into the week. They lost 128-131 to Toronto on Nov. 29. Then, on Dec. 1 Detroit beat Golden State 111-102. It appears that what Warriors’ coach Steve Kerr said, about the rest of the league catching up, is true.

The last time Milwaukee faced Golden State, they pummeled them 134-111. Milwaukee remains one of the top teams in the league. At home, they’re 8-4-1 ATS and should cover the spread as a favorite on Friday.

Pick: Milwaukee Bucks

Milwaukee Bucks at Toronto Raptors
When: Sunday, Dec. 6 at 6:00 pm ET
Where: Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, ON, CA
TV: NBA TV

Analysis: After hosting the Warriors on Friday, the Bucks take a day off before traveling to Toronto to face Kawhi Leonard and the Raptors. Milwaukee beat Toronto 124-109 on Oct. 29.

The Raptors shot about as badly as they could in the loss, only hitting on 9-of-45 from behind the three-point line. The game took place in Milwaukee. There’s no way the Raptors shoot that badly at home.

Toronto’s the team to back.

Pick: Toronto Raptors
