NBA Picks Mach 27 – April 2

The Final Four is next week. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t enough good NBA games for an NBA picks article. On Wednesday, Golden State travels to San Antonio. Who will gain momentum before the playoffs when the two best teams in the Western Conference duke it out? Then, on Sunday San Antonio battles Utah. Does Utah have a shot versus the mighty Spurs? Before Utah versus San Antonio Boston travels to MSG to take on New York. Who wins the classic Eastern Conference matchup between the Celtics and the Knicks?

Must Bet NBA Picks Mach 27th – April 2nd

Golden State at San Antonio
When:  Wednesday, March 29 at 9:30 pm ET
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX

Analysis: After 3 straight losses, the Warriors got back on track big time. Golden State has won their past 6 games to start the week. They’ve gone 4 and 2 against the spread in those 6 games. But, by the time the Warriors battle San Antonio they will have had taken on Memphis at home on March 26, and Houston on the road on March 28.

Houston and San Antonio back-to-back is a tough thing to get through. What’s tougher for Golden State is that the Spurs are one of the few teams in the NBA, maybe the only team, that has Golden State’s number.

The last time Golden State battled San Antonio, they beat the Spurs 107 to 85. The Spurs beat Golden State 129 to 100 in the first game of the season on Oct. 25. San Antonio should roll in this match up.

Pick: San Antonio ATS

Boston at New York
When:  Sunday, April 2 at 1:00 pm ET
Where: Madison Square Garden, New York, NY

Analysis: The Boston Celtics are hot. Boston goes into April having won 6 out of their last 7 games. The Celtics are 6 and 1 straight up in their last 7 games. The Celtics have been particularly great in their last 3 games.

They beat Washington 110 to 102 on March 20. They battled Indiana to a 109 to 100 win on March 22. They throttled Phoenix 130 to 120 on March 24. But, the Celtics might want to rest their starters against one of the worst teams in the NBA, the New York Knicks, this Sunday.

Will resting their starters hurt Boston’s chances of dominating the Knicks? I think it will. New York has a lot of young players who want to get on the floor and prove they belong with the team.

I think New York beats Boston straight up.

Pick: New York SU

Utah at San Antonio
When:  Sunday, April 2 at 3:30 pm ET
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX

Analysis: In the second game of a double-header on ABC this Sunday, San Antonio hosts Utah. San Antonio’s record to start the week is 56-16. Golden State’s record to start the week is 58-14.

San Antonio may need to continue playing LaMarcus Aldridge and Kawhi Leonard just so they can make a play for home court advantage during the Western Conference Playoffs. San Antonio beat Utah 100 to 86 the last time they faced the Jazz.

That game was on Nov. 4, 2016. A lot has changed since then. What hasn’t is San Antonio’s ability to dominate Utah.

The Spurs ATS is the play.

Pick: San Antonio ATS
