This will be the fourth and final meeting between these two teams for this season as the Pistons go on the road to try and at the very best even out the series at two games apiece, both of these teams are in some kind of building mode as Detroit looks forward to setting things up around Josh Smith and the Wizards are looking forwards to making point guard John Wall their center piece. This will be a good defensive game given the Pistons size in the back court and the Wizards ball movement.
Detroit has the ability to defend the paint very well; both of their forwards have great rebounding skills while Monroe, their center makes his presence felt whenever someone tries to drive to the hole. I think that for this game Detroit will look to be aggressive off the pass while making sure the ball moves enough as to where they get the shoot there are looking for, they have to protect the ball and not make sloppy errors that will cost their teams points in the end.
Washington has a good pace; they change things up a lot during a game to really never allow the other team to get comfortable in a particular defense. Wall and his ability to draw defenders really opens things up in the middle and gives his teammates the choice on cutting or getting a split second better look at the rim before they shoot, that is a trait not comely found in this League these days. I like the Wizards to really surprise the Pistons on their home floor with a big win, mostly coming from their second half play, I see a 6+ win for Washington.
