I See The Nuggets Sprinting Through This OneThe Sportsman
I have not yet had the pleasure of seeing the Kings play this season, but if they resemble anything like they did during pre-season, things are not looking good for their fan base. I have seen Denver and they are looking great, a little rough around the edges and need to be refined a little but I think that over all they are looking pretty good in their offensive and defensive sets. The Kings have to find a way to win the battle on the boards, that was their main problem last season and it was their main issue over this last month.
Sacramento Kings vs. Denver Nuggets
9:00 PM ET, November 3, 2014
Pepsi Center, Denver, CO
Sacramento lost the battle on the boards last season by an average of almost 12 rebounds, now even if only half of those were offensive that means that between 10 to 15 points where added against them to every game. Another one of their problems is center DeMarcus Cousins because of his immaturity and need to speak his mind he has been the leading player in the League when it comes to technical fouls, giving the other team a free point and the ball. He has been tossed so many times it’s become almost normal.
Denver is the exact opposite, the run the ball, keep quiet and just attack their opponents from the paint, the shoot well but that is always secondary to attacking the rim, looking for the foul and making scoring as easy as possible. This team wears their competition out, their defense is not much to write home about but that is because they know they can hang with anyone when it comes to exchanging points.
Both of these teams has their different approach to playing their game, although Denver’s is designed to win much more the Sacramento’s is. This will be one of those few times that I say its ok to follow the betting public and take the favorite, in this case not much will surprise you as the Nuggets will win this game with relative ease by sticking to their attack the rim game plan.
