The Best NBA Bets This WeekNoah Williams
If you take a look at the NBA playoff standings, the upcoming matchups, magic numbers to clinch and possible playoff scenarios you will find the best NBA teams to bet on this week and here are mine
NBA Best Bets April 2nd to April 6th
Miami Heat (51-22 SU and 34-37-2 ATS)
The Heat haven’t been one of the best NBA bets overall but this week they could be a gold mine. The home stretch has always belonged to Miami, and they’re riding a positively thrilling 3-1 SU and 4-0 ATS streak right now. And look at those upcoming games. Miami struggles to cover at home, but those three opponents are a trio of squads that have been blown up by Miami on a routine basis. They’re coming off a +10.0 win over the feisty Raptors. They are taking zero opponents lightly. Bet on Miami and get the hell out of the way.
Upcoming Games: vs. Milwaukee (4/2), vs. Minnesota (4/4), vs. New York (4/6)
Brooklyn Nets (40-33 SU AND 23-14 ATS)
I’d be lying to you if I suggested that Brooklyn was going to be one of the best NBA bets on at any point in the season. But the small ball lineup featuring Paul Pierce as the team’s power forward has paid off massive dividends. Brooklyn is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games and have three great opportunities this week to cash in as a monster while they chase Toronto down in the Atlantic Division standings. They’ve been demolishing opponents left, right and center and are fine tuning all the motor work they need to be a competitive team in the playoffs. Get on board.
Upcoming Games: @ New York (4/2), vs. Detroit (4/4), @ Philadelphia (4/5)
Chicago Bulls (42-32 SU AND 36-37-1 ATS)
Since the turn of the new year, Chicago has been one of the winningest teams in the league. They’re 7-3 SU in their last 10 games, and matched that with a very ugly 3-6-1 ATS record. So why list them here as one of the best NBA bets this week? Simply because of the matchups and the schedule itself. Chicago has three absolutely winnable games this week, and two of them are on the road so the value will be there. After Saturday, they get an awesome four day break. They’ll empty the gas tank until they have to recharge for the final leg of the regular season.
Upcoming Games: @ Atlanta (4/2), vs. Milwaukee (4/4), @ Washington (4/5)
San Antonio Spurs (58-16 SU AND 41-33 ATS)
The Spurs continue to be the team to beat in the entirety of the NBA. An 18-0 SU run has also created an astonishingly profitable 15-3 ATS record to match. It doesn’t matter who San Antonio is playing – they’re making fools of everyone in sight. It’s not too late to get in on the profits. They have three titanic matchups awaiting them, and after seeing what they did to Indiana during a 103-77 decimation, you’d be an idiot if you left them off your nightly betting slip.
Upcoming Games: vs. Golden State (4/2), @ Oklahoma City (4/3), vs. Memphis (4/6)
Portland Trail Blazers (49-27 SU AND 42-34 ATS)
Whatever problems Portland had at the mid-point of the season have evaporated. Lillard and Aldridge form a mighty, and seemingly invulnerable, one-two punch that has created a four game win and cover streak. They’ll lose a little firepower on the betting line as a home team this week and in to next, but they’ve been eviscerating opponents without concern. They can’t catch Oklahoma City in the standings and take over the division, but they can certainly gun down Houston whom they’re only 1.5 games behind for home court advantage in the opening round. That prize is well worth beating the snot out of some bad teams, and that’s exactly what makes Portland one of the best NBA bets this week.
Upcoming Games: vs. Phoenix (4/4), vs. New Orleans (4/6)
