Kevin Durant pushing the ball forward Vs. the Wizards

Thunder Going For Their Third

This game a few seasons ago I would have done almost anything to watch it, but this year and the way things are going for the Lakers we already know how it´s going to end. The Thunder have beaten the Lakers in the last two games, this is a four game series and I don’t really see anyway for the Lakers to avoid the sweep. I doubt we will see much of the Thunder´s starters in this game given the Lack of competition from the other side of the floor.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Los Angeles Lakers

STAPLES Center, Los Angeles, CA
Coverage: ABC

Oklahoma City knows it has the chance to really go deep yet again in their season´s playoffs but health and rest will play a big part in that. The Thunder will not play their starters in the second half unless they find themselves loosing. I can expect them to build a decent lead going into halftime then allow the younger guys to come off the bench and prove themselves. Perkins might be the only starter on this team that will play decent minutes in this game because they need him ready on the defensive side as well as rebounding to match up against the Howards and Hibberts of the League.

Los Angeles is slowly starting to been seen more as a Clippers media place now that the Lakers have fallen off the side of a cliff. Pau Gasol is the only remaining player from their championship runs and with his advanced age and injuries over the year, you cannot expect him to pick this team on his back. the Thunder are still -8.5 in this game even with their bench getting most of the action, this will be a double figure win for OKC.
