Time To Step Up In WashingtonTheDuck
As difficult as it might be to understand the Heat seem to always have trouble with the Wizards, whether they are at home or in our Nation’s capital. This is a best of four game series between the two and obviously we know who is having the better season and in the hunt for the playoffs. In game one the Heat were home and the game went exactly how they planed it, Washington never got within 5 points of the defending champions and Miami won the game by 10.
Game two however was a different story; Miami traveled to Washington and was dominated, on the glass, in assists and in scoring percentage. The Wizards played a flawless game with only two turnovers and really got the crowd into it early. They won the game by 17 points, keeping the Heat from scoring in triple digits, something I am sure Miami will use as a drive for this next one. Washington will come into this game with the same game plan, move the ball, protect it and be aggressive, attack the Heat players to keep them on their toes.
Miami knows that this time around the Wizards will be without one of their best inside defenders as well as scorer; Nene suffered a season ending injury just before Christmas and was a big part of that Wizards win over Miami. Expect the Heat to attack the post-game, pulling Bosh out to the shoulder to give him room to work the ball as well as clearing the lane for James and Wade to get to the rim. The Heat are -8 in this game and I think because of the lack of defense that Nene brought, the Heat will win this game as well as cover.
