NBA Betting Analysis March 25-31

Must Bet NBA Games Nov 26 – Dec 2

The NBA season is trucking along and if you want to win betting on basketball, check out a trio of games that I picked as must bet NBA games of the week.

Must Bet NBA Games Nov 26 – Dec 2

Golden State Warriors at Toronto Raptors
When: Thursday, Nov. 29 at 8:00 pm ET
Where: Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, ON, CA

Analysis: After starting the season as hot as they could be, the Golden State Warriors have plummeted back to earth. Golden State is 14-7 before their Nov. 26 game against the Orlando Magic. What’s worse if you’re a Golden State backer is how they’ve gone a terrible 9-12 against the spread. The 9-12 record includes going 2-7 ATS on the road.

Contrasting Golden State, the Toronto Raptors sit on a 16-4 record not counting their game against the Miami Heat on Nov. 25. Toronto has gone 11-9 against the spread. They have a 5-5 ATS home record.

There’s plenty of time for the Warriors to become the team that easily won the NBA Championship last season. But, for now, they’re a play against.

Pick: Toronto

Denver Nuggets at Portland Trailblazers
When: Friday, Nov. 30 at 10:00 pm ET
Where: Moda Center, Portland, OR

Analysis: After hosting the Lakers on Nov. 27, the Denver Nuggets take off a couple of days before traveling to Portland to battle the Trailblazers. The Nuggets have a losing 4-5 ATS record in road games. Denver beat Portland 88-82 the last time they faced them, though.

That game took place this April. This Trailblazers squad plays much better together than that Blazers squad did. Portland’s a gaudy 7-2 against the spread in home games. The Trailblazers should cover on Friday night.

Pick: Portland

Boston Celtics at Minnesota Timberwolves
When: Saturday, Dec. 1 at 8:00 pm ET
Where: Target Center, Minneapolis, MN

Analysis: One of the reasons the Boston Celtics have a .500 record before their Nov. 26 game against the New Orleans Pelicans is because the Celtics have trouble scoring buckets. Boston only averages 106 points from less than 44% shooting from the field.

If Boston’s defense wasn’t so great, the Celtics might not even be hovering around .500. The Celtics continue to get over bet even though they don’t win games straight up or ATS. Boston is 3-9 ATS on the road.

Minnesota should cover no matter how many points Boston gives them on Saturday.

Pick: Minnesota
