This will be an interesting game to watch because of the offensive differences, the Bulls are more of the shooting team while the Timberwolves have evolved lately as an aggressive attacking group, that constantly drive to the rim. The Bulls have recently changed their defensive ways to a more front zone and back man that always Noah to move a little more freely under the rim. Minnesota has stuck to their traditional zone but will a twist as they defend the perimeter well with three guys on top of the key. This will be a close one down in Minnesota, a real nail bitter.
Chicago understands that their goals of the postseason are back and in full swing, especially after the nose dive from the Knicks. It will not be easy though because they will not be seeded high and they will have to fight to push through. This game will prepare them for the style of defense they will need to make a deep run. Boozer is back healthy and really has taken a commanding control of the offense, directing traffic from under the backboard seems to be working very well and we will see how the Timberwolves adapt.
Minnesota has the back court to really hang with the Bulls in this game but the question mark comes from the front court, more specifically the shooting guard as the Timberwolves will match up Lee against Butler, two defensively oriented players who work very hard for their teams. Lee will really have to get between the ball and Butler to control the rebound.
Pick: I have the Timberwolves slowing the Bulls down in this game at home because of their unique offensive ways. Take Minnesota +2 at home.
