What They Could Have Been

Denver Nuggets vs. Golden State Warriors

What They Could Have Been

If you were to hand me a schedule of this NBA season a month before it all started, I would have told you that by this time this would have been the most interesting game available, the one I would really want to watch as everyone including self really thought these two teams were going to be the ones that had a chance to fight it out on the hardwood for supremacy. Instead is the demise of a team riddled by injuries and the other on the verge of losing their head coach.

Denver Nuggets vs. Golden State Warriors
The Denver Nuggets take on the Golden State Warriors this Thursday night in the NBA.
Starts: 04/10/2014 10:30PM
Oracle Arena, 7000 Coliseum Way
OaklandCalifornia

I don’t think in my 17 years of covering the NBA have I see any team affected so much by injury, really at one point this team had only few players left. This team who normally is almost unbeatable on the home floor now has 13 losses. They seem lost themselves and now that it’s a fat that they will not be making the playoffs, things just have to calm down and they have to get their roster back healthy as main priority.

Golden State on the other hand is playoff bound but they are surrounded by 2 of their assistant coaches being fired in 12 days. The owner has also said that head coach Mark Jackson´s job relies only on wins nothing else. I really expect this Warriors team to stand behind their head coach and rally in their remaining 10 days to win as much as they can to make sure that Jackson remains head coach. That means this team will really have to dig deep because there have a decently hard closing schedule.

Pick: My advice is to take the Warriors in this game because of their motivation to win for their head coaches job, that will inspire them , they love Mark in on this team.
