NCAAB Betting Picks – Thursday’s Best Plays on Ranked TeamsNoah Williams
The are three ranked teams involved in tonight’s massive slate of games, and I’ve got them all covered in my daily NCAAB betting picks. All of these top 10 teams are playing at home, which should offer definitive advantages for at least two, though there is one game where I believe the number is far too high. Let’s get to the games shall we?
Today’s NCAAB Betting Picks
#7 CINCINNATI BEARCATS -5.5 over UConn Huskies (7pm EST)
It’s almost strange that during one of the best college basketball seasons of all time, the legendary UConn Huskies are nowhere to be found. Sure, they’re 17-4 SU but they’re also 10-9 ATS on the season and have been a bit of a stay away for most gamblers. The Bearcats, on the other hand, have risen to the top of the newly formed AAC with a dazzling 21-2 SU record a with a reliable 7-2 ATS record in their own building complimenting an undefeated 15-0 SU record at home. And Justin Jackson is becoming a must-see player. If you can catch this tilt, take the home bound Cincinnati Bearcats in your own NCAAB betting picks and watch Jackson dominate. It’s a great investment of your time and money.
#3 ARIZONA WILDCATS -11.5 over Oregon Ducks (9pm EST)
This might not be the best time to get behind Arizona in NCAAB betting picks, but they’re simply a more logical take in this particular matchup. Coming off their first loss of the season on the road against the upstart California Golden Bears, the Wildcats are just 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games while going 9-1 SU and 5-5 ATS overall in their past ten. At home, the Wildcats share a kinship with their football brethren by being a great bet at home with a 15-6 ATS record in their past 21 hostings. Couple that with the fledgling Oregon Ducks, who are 1-9-1 ATS in their last 11 games and 6-20-2 ATS when playing in-conference matchups and your money is simply safer with Arizona. Especially since they’ll be out for blood. This is not the time to be doubting Arizona.
Penn State Nittany Lions +13.5 over #8 MSU SPARTANS (9pm EST)
The Spartans continue to hold as a great, overall team, but their inability to dominate on a nightly basis is starting to catch up with them. They’re just 1-3 ATS in their last 4 games and while Penn State isn’t the greatest take in NCAAB betting picks, they’re a fantastic underdog play on the road. The Lions are 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 away games and 3-1 SU and ATS in their past 4 games overall, which includes an overtime win on the road against the Buckeyes. Go against the grain here. This is too many points for the Spartans, who aren’t a real blowout team to begin with so it’s hard for me to side with them in NCAAB betting picks with such an inflated margin on the spread.
