College Basketball Must Bet Games Feb 25 – March 3

We are a few weeks away from March Madness, but you can boost your sports betting bankroll this week. I have picked a trio of college basketball games that you need to have on your calendar.

College Basketball Must Bet Games Feb 25 – March 3

Michigan State at Indiana
When: Saturday, March 2 at 12:00 pm ET
Where: Assembly Hall, Bloomington, IN
TV: FOX

Analysis: No team in college basketball is as tight as Michigan State. Tom Izzo’s squad has been awesome, winning 5 in a row straight up and going 4-1 in those 5 wins. The Spartans head into the week off their most impressive victory of the season.

They upset the rival Michigan Wolverines 77-70 as a +4.5 road dog on Sunday, Feb. 24. MSU has an 8-3 ATS road record. However, the last time they battled Indiana they lost 75-79 in overtime. That game happened on Feb. 2.

It doesn’t sound like a long time ago. In college hoops, it is. Michigan State’s been on a tear since the loss while the Hoosiers have lost 5 in a row straight up and gone 3-2 ATS. The Spartans roll to an easy win and cover.

Pick: Michigan State Spartans

Kentucky at Tennessee
When: Saturday, March 2 at 2:00 pm ET
Where: Thompson-Boiling Arena, Knoxville, TN
TV: CBS

Analysis: This is a rematch of a game that took place on Feb. 16 when Kentucky beat Tennessee 86-69. The Wildcats got to take on the Volunteers at home in that matchup. On Saturday, Tennessee’s the home team.

At home, the Vols have gone 6-8-1 ATS. More alarmingly if you’re a Vols’ backer is how they’ve lost 2 of their last 3. They’ve also gone 0-4 ATS in their last 4 heading into the week. Tennessee might be on a downturn.

Kentucky is looking good. The Wildcats get the nod on the moneyline and against the spread.

Pick: Kentucky Wildcats

Michigan at Maryland
When: Sunday, March 3 at 3:45 pm ET
Where: XFINITY Center, College Park, MD
TV: CBS

Analysis: Michigan battles Maryland on Sunday knowing that every game in the Big Ten from here on out means something.

The Wolverines beat Maryland 65-52 on Feb. 16. Michigan’s depth and defensive pressure could push the Terrapins into some turnovers, just like it did in the first game, but Maryland should be more prepared this time around.

The Terrapins are 4-1 SU and 4-1 ATS heading into the week. They’ll beat Penn State on Feb. 27, and then beat and cover against the Michigan Wolverines on March 3.

Pick: Maryland Terrapins
