Must Bet College Hoops Games Jan 27 – Feb 2

College Basketball Picks Dec 10-16

College basketball is back and I have a trio of top betting picks for the upcoming week of colligate hoops actions.

College Basketball Picks Dec 10-16

#21 Villanova at #2 Kansas
When: Saturday, Dec. 15 at 12:00 pm ET
Where: Allen Fieldhouse, Lawrence, KS

Analysis: Defending champions Villanova heads to Lawrence, Kansas on Saturday to battle the second-ranked Jayhawks. Since back-to-back losses, 46-73 to Michigan and a shocking 68-76 overtime loss to Furman, the Wildcats have won 6 straight. They’ve also gone 5-1 against the spread in those 6 games.

Nova’s leaning on Phil Booth and the defense has considerably tightened up. Undefeated, Kansas has been one of the best teams in the early part of this college basketball season. But, the Jayhawks have struggled to cover the spread.

Kansas is only 1-3 ATS at home this season. Because Villanova figures to be a huge dog in this, the Jayhawks should again find it difficult to cover. Kansas will win. Villanova won’t make it easy. Nova’s the pick against the spread.

Pick: Villanova

Utah at #9 Kentucky
When: Saturday, Dec. 15 at 5:00 pm ET
Where: Rupp Arena, Lexington, KY

Analysis: Utah heads to Rupp Arena looking to make a statement. The Utes are at .500. The 4-4 record’s much better than Utah’s record against the spread. They’re 2-6 overall against the spread and had a terrible time in Provo against the rival BYU Cougars. BYU dominated Utah 74-59.

On Saturday, Kentucky should dominate the Utes. The Wildcats lost to Seton Hall 83-84 in overtime on Dec. 8, but playing a team like Utah should make everything better. Even though Kentucky figures to offer double-digits in points, they’re the team to back against the spread.

The Wildcats win by 20.

Pick: Kentucky Wildcats

Baylor at Arizona
When: Saturday, Dec. 15 at 11:00 pm ET
Where: McKale Center, Tucson, AZ

Analysis: Baylor versus Arizona used to be a fantastic matchup. Not this season. Neither squad is expected to go deep in the NCAA Tournament…if they make the tournament.

Baylor’s at 5-3 while Arizona has a 7-3 record. At home, the Wildcats have a winning 3-2 against the spread record. Zona should play well enough to beat Baylor. The spread won’t be as burdensome after Arizona lost to Alabama on Dec. 9. AZ wins and covers.

Pick: Arizona Wildcats
