Bet The #7 Kansas Jayhawks Because…

Kansas’s season appears back on track after beating Kentucky in overtime this past Saturday. The Jayhawks showed grit and determination in order to take down the Wildcats in a game that could have gone either way up until the overtime stanza. In particular, Kansas’s offense scored 90 points against Kentucky, a team that hadn’t given up more than 57 points in their last 2 games. Kansas covered a -11.5 point spread in a 77 to 59 win over Kansas State on Feb. 3. The Jayhawks look strong going into this battle with TCU.

Bet The TCU Horned Frogs Because…

TCU fought Kansas hard last month. As a +22.5 points road dog, TCU lost by only 7 points to Kansas in a surprising 63 to 70 game on January 16. The Horned Frogs held Kansas to 25% shooting from three while they shot 41% from three. TCU also had three players score in double-figures in that game: Michael Williams, Brandon Parish and Chauncey Collins. If TCU can play a similar game on Saturday that they played on Jan. 16, they’ll have a shot against Kansas.

Expert Pick & Final Score Prediction

The Jayhawks weren’t playing as well a couple of weeks ago, when they took on TCU, as they’re playing right now. Kansas went into the TCU game having lost to West Virginia on the road by a 63 to 74 score. The light bulb went off for the Jayhawks in the win against Kentucky.

The light bulb continued to shine in their victory over Kansas State. There’s no reason to believe that the light bulb will shut down just because Kansas takes on a team that gave them some trouble last month but that they still beat. My money will be on Kansas to beat TCU by at least 20 on Feb. 6.

My final score prediction is Kansas 80, TCU 60.
