Jacksonville Dolphins vs. North Florida Ospreys

Jacksonville Is Looking For A Power Win

The Dolphins are coming into this game having really not been able to find much of their offensive game as of yet, they are six games under .500 but have the opportunity in this game against North Florida to play a relatively decent squad that they will have the advantage on under the basket. The Ospreys don’t count on much height this season, they have been moving the ball more around their guards and playing the teams power forward at center, who is only 6 foot 9 inches, allowing the two almost 7 feet centers that Jacksonville has to really have an advantage in this game on both side of the court.

North Florida does however have very skilled guards that spread the floor because of their ability to get into the paint, they are aggressive as well as durable but seem to have problems when it comes to rebounding and post up defense. The Ospreys will really need to show their aggressive side in this game, it will be a conference one so both teams are decently aware of what the other brings to the table. Last year´s game was a very close one with North Florida pulling off the win with back to back three point shots to the closing minute.

Jacksonville will run their offense through the big guys under the rim, they will try to use their post advantage to rotate the ball and hit the open man on the perimeter if the inside game is off. Rebounding the ball is key for them if they want to pull off the win, big guys sometimes are not enough and with the speed that North Florida brings to the court, they will need to control the ball possession as well as it´s rotation to win. I have the Dolphins winning this game by 6+ points as the underdog and the total will stay under 136.
