The Badgers have won the last two games of the head-to-head series and six of the last eight, but they posted a 3-5 against the spread record in that same span. In the last meeting, Wisconsin embarassed Minnesota 83-57, covering a 5-point spread as favorites. Ben Brust led the team that time, scoring a career-high 29 points.

"They did a good job of being aggressive and being smart with what they were doing," Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan said. "They made smart plays when they were in there, and Sam finished well and Bronson created some good shots for himself and knocked them down. It kind of just spreads through all of us."

Senior guard Andre Hollins averages 15.2 points per game, leading the team.

Wisconsin is 8-7-1 against the spread at home, 2-5-1 ATS in its last eight games at home, 14-10-1 ATS as favorites and 14 of their 25 games this season have gone UNDER the game total. Minnesota is 2-8-1 against the spread away from home, and 1-6 ATS as underdogs; also, the over and under has been split 10-10. The Gophers also enter the game as second in the nation with 10.8 steals a game.
