The Badgers have won the last two games of the head-to-head series and six of the last eight, but they posted a 3-5 against the spread record in that same span. In the last meeting, Wisconsin embarassed Minnesota 83-57, covering a 5-point spread as favorites. Ben Brust led the team that time, scoring a career-high 29 points.
"They did a good job of being aggressive and being smart with what they were doing," Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan said. "They made smart plays when they were in there, and Sam finished well and Bronson created some good shots for himself and knocked them down. It kind of just spreads through all of us."
