This Week’s Must Bet On Men’s College Basketball Games
Wisconsin at Maryland
When: 7:00 PM ET, Tuesday, Feb 24, 2015
Former ACC squad Maryland could make itself a top Big Ten basketball team with a victory over the conference king, Wisconsin, on Tuesday night. Maryland has won 3 in a row straight up, but they’ve been terrible at covering the spread with only 2 covers in their last 10 games.

The Terrapins might be a home dog in this matchup, though, because Wisconsin has been en feugo. The Badgers haven’t lost a game since a 62 to 67 stunner to Rutgers on the road as a -15 point favorite on January 11.
Baylor at Iowa State
When: 9:00 PM ET, Wednesday, Feb 25, 2015
Baylor is only 2 games behind Kansas and 1 game behind Iowa State in the Big 12 standings. This game is paramount to both teams success at winning the regular season conference title.
Baylor beat Iowa State 74 to 73 on January 14, but that game was at Baylor.

Rico gathers in 10 rebounds to go along with 13 points as No. 20 Baylor blasts Kansas State, 69-42. pic.twitter.com/JXb0rjtQWT

The Bears have to travel to Iowa State for this matchup and the Cyclones’ run and gun offense, averaging 79.8 points and 48.6% shooting, is much more effective at home. The Cyclones are also 6 and 5 ATS at home while Baylor is 4-4-1 ATS on the road.
Arizona at Utah
When: 9:00 PM ET, Saturday, Feb 28, 2015
Arizona handled Utah at home on January 17 in a 69 to 51 win. As good as Utah’s Delon Wright is, his main flaw, lack of three-point shooting prowess, was in full effect versus the Wildcats in the first game. Wright took only 2 three-point shots, making 1.

But, Utah is a fantastic 10 and 4 against the spread in their home games not counting a Feb. 26 matchup against Arizona State. If the Utes cover in that game, they might be a favorite over the higher ranked Wildcats. That doesn’t make Arizona an overlay. The Wildcats’ 3 losses this season occurred to much worse teams than Utah on the road: UNLV, Oregon State and Arizona State.
Syracuse at Duke
When: 7:00 PM ET, Saturday, Feb 28, 2015
The self-imposed post-season ban appears to be having an effect on the Syracuse Orange. They have lost 3 of their last 5 games and face Notre Dame on Feb. 24 before battling Duke this Saturday.
— Blue Devil Network (@BlueDevil_NTWRK) February 22, 2015
As badly as Syracuse has been playing lately, it’s difficult to see the Orange not stepping up against a Duke team that they played competitively against on Feb. 14. Ah, but that game was at Syracuse. This matchup is at Cameron Indoor Stadium where the Blue Devils are a ridiculous 14 and 1 straight up. Then again, Duke is only 6-7-1 against the spread at home.
