Robert Morris V North Florida Line, Final Score Prediction & TV InfoJosh Bailey
Welcome to what I believe is the top reason why I love March Madness betting. Today the North Florida Ospreys will make their first-ever appearance at the big dance in the First Four when they take on the Robert Morris Colonials in a matchup of No. 16 seeds for a shot at the top-seeded Duke Blue Devils Friday.
"It’s human nature to have jitters," Ospreys forward Chris Davenport said. "After the first couple of minutes of the game, me and my teammates will just treat it as any other game."
First Four NCAA Tournament Robert Morris V North Florida Betting Line, Final Score Prediction & TV Info
The Ospreys average 76 points; Robert Morris 69.0. North Florida hits 38 percent behind the arc to the Colonials’ 39.1. Both like to get out and run.
"They shoot the 3 — they shoot it a lot," said Rodney Pryor, Robert Morris’ top scorer at 15.2 points a game. "They’ve got a few guys that go at a fast clip. So we’ve got to be on high alert."
The Ospreys say the same about the Colonials.

Robert Morris Will Cover the Spread If
The Colonials have balanced scoring.
Robert Morris won the NEC Conference by beating Wagner 91 to 68, Bryant 66 to 53 and St. Francis-NY 66 to 63. In all 3 of those games, at least 3 players scored in double-figures.
The Colonials have a very balanced team. If someone has the hot hand, guard Kavon Stewart can get that person the ball. Stewart leads the team in assists per game at 4.4. He dished 5 assists and scored only 10 points versus Wagner because he kept feeding Lucky Jones and Marcquise Reed. Jones scored 27 and Reed scored 22. Versus Bryant, Stewart scored 19, dished 8 assists, and racked up 7 steals. For the Colonials to ensure a cover ATS, a repeat of the game against St. Francis-NY is what they need. Five players scored in double-figures in that game. Elijah Minnie scored 14. Stewart scored 11. Reed scored 10. Pryor scored 17 and Jones scored 12.
North Florida Will Cover the Spread If
North Florida can shoot to their percentages.
The North Florida Osprey is a team that most basketball handicappers don’t have a clue about. Since the Osprey play in the A-Sun, along with squads like Kennesaw State and Lipscomb, not knowing who North Florida is can be forgiven.
The truth is that North Florida has one of the top offenses in college hoops based on stats. Granted, their competition isn’t great, but they face Robert Morris on Wednesday. The Osprey average 75.7 points per game. They shoot a blistering 46.9% from the field. Versus South Carolina Upstate, North Florida shot only 38.6%. They still won the game 63 to 57 because they played excellent defense. The Osprey shot 28% from behind the arc in that win.
If North Florida shoots to their average percentage of 46.9% from the field, they should cover the spread as a slight favorite against Robert Morris. If they shoot their average of 39% from behind the three-point line, there’s a good chance that they’ll blow out the Colonials.
