Robert Morris Vs Duke March Madness Betting Spread & ATS PickNoah Williams
Can the top-seeded Duke Blue Devils avoid a second year of a round of 64 disappointment when they square off against the 16th-seeded Robert Morris Colonials in a South Region game? The Blue Devils are a colossal 22.5-point favorite, but can you count on them to cover that heavy of a March Madness spread?
The Colonials are coming off an 81-77 comeback win over the North Florida Ospreys as four-point underdogs in the First Four Tuesday and hope to continue that mojo against one of the top squads in the nation.
"At halftime, we let (the players) be for about 5 or 6 minutes, and I think they figured it out," said coach Andy Toole, avoiding a fire-and-brimstone speech. "As we came in as coaches in the locker room, you know they looked like they understood what they needed to do."
The Blue Devils were a No. 3 seed last year when they were stunned by No. 14 Mercer in the R64. Even though this year’s squad was a much better team on the hard-court their 74-64 loss to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the semifinals of the ACC tournament.
