A Closer Look At The USC Trojans Vs Arizona Wildcats Betting Spread & My ATS Pick
USC won its last game to snap a nine-game losing streak and is gunning to win consecutive conference games for the first time since defeating Arizona and ASU at home on Feb. 27 & March 2, 2013.
Arizona is focused on its own streak when the Wildcats look to extend the nation’s second-longest home win streak to 35 and last-place Southern California is just the team to do it against. USC is last in the conference in field-goal % at 41.9, second-to-last in 3-point shooting % at 31.4 while at the same time committing the second-most turnovers per game with 13.9.
The Trojans have also dropped five of the last six meetings against the Wildcats, including a 73-53 defeat Jan. 12, 2014. They have lost five straight in Tucson since a 70-58 win Feb. 28, 2008.
"USC’s talent is in the younger classes," Az head-coach Sean Miller said. "They have some excellent freshmen and they have a couple really good sophomores as well. They’re just very, very young. They will only get better as those young players get older."

Point Spread: Arizona Wildcats -23
After snapping a nine-game losing streak, the USC Trojans will meet the Arizona Wildcats for the first and only time in the regular season on Thursday.
The last time these two met was over a year ago when the Wildcats embarrassed the Trojans with a 20-point victory that saw the 13-point spread being paid out in favor of the the road warrior Wildcats. That night Brandon Ashley and T.J. McConnell each scored a season-high 19 points for Arizona.
"We’re really excited about it, we really are," Arizona coach Sean Miller said. "We talked about it and it’s something I think all of us will really cherish. Any school record you break at Arizona in the basketball program is a real record because of the great tradition that we have."
The Wildcats have won seven of the last ten games in the series, covering the spread in every win. However, in 2013 Arizona’s visit to Southern California ended in an 11-point loss by the Wildcats in an absolute shocker. The Trojans have won just two of the last seven visits by the Wildcats to SoCal. When playing in Arizona, the home team has won the last six in a row, covering the spread in five of those six meetings.
This season, the Trojans are five games under .500, scoring 67.2 points per game and allowing 70.0 PPG. They are also 189th in assists per game and 256th in field goals percentage. Their two best scorers are sophomore guard Katin Reinhardt and sophomore forward Nikola Jovanovic as both average 12.4 PPG.
