ATS Picks College Football Week 13

#11 Texas at Kansas
When: Friday, Nov. 23 at 12:00 pm ET
Where: Memorial Stadium, Lawrence, KS
Odds: N/A

Analysis: Due to an injury, Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger’s listed as questionable. Even if Ehlinger doesn’t play, the Longhorns should win and cover whatever spread’s assigned to this game.

Since a 41-42 home loss to West Virginia, Texas has stepped it up. The Longhorns are 2-0 both SU and ATS versus Texas Tech and Iowa State. Most expected Texas to beat Texas Tech. Many thought Iowa State might give Texas a challenge.

The Longhorns beat the Cyclones 24-10. The only thing Ehlinger’s absence will do is force a lower spread on Texas than what it should be. The Longhorns easily win and cover on Friday.

Pick: Texas

#8 UCF at South Florida
When: Friday, Nov. 23 at 4:15 pm ET
Where: Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, FL
Odds: UCF -14

Analysis: Like Iowa State versus Texas, the dog in UCF’s Week 12 matchup was supposed to challenge the undefeated AAC champs. Cincinnati came into their game versus Central Florida with a real shot at the upset…or so many thought.

All the Knights did was pound a decent Bearcats’ defense with 38 points in a massive 38-13 win. The victory was important because Cincinnati entered the game ranked. Central Florida showed that it’s probably as deserving of a CFP berth as any team not named Alabama or Clemson.

UCF won’t let a reeling squad like South Florida end their perfect season. Central Florida wins and covers.

Pick: UCF

South Carolina at #2 Clemson
When: Friday, Nov. 24 at 7:00 pm ET
Where: Memorial Stadium, Clemson, SC
Odds: Clemson -24

Analysis: Clemson should win, but the Tigers are only 2-4 ATS at home this season. The Tigers had covered 5 straight before only beating Duke 35-6 in Week 12. Clemson’s favored by way too many points over a decent if not spectacular SEC team in South Carolina.

The Gamecocks almost pulled off the moneyline upset versus Florida in Week 11. Even though they couldn’t close the deal on the Gators, they did cover the spread. Because they beat Chattanooga 49-9, South Carolina has covered in 3 straight.

Time to take the 25 points versus a Clemson team already thinking of the ACC Championship.

Pick: South Carolina
