Who To Bet On To Win The Pac 12 in 2014

The love affair with Oregon in the Pac 12 continues even though Oregon didn’t play nearly as well in 2013 as many college football fans expected them to play. UCLA is getting a lot of love from the college football oddsmakers as well as is USC who has a new coach in Steve Sarkisian. Click here for full Pac 12 odds.

Will there be a surprise winner of the Pac 12 or will Oregon and the Los Angeles schools battle it out for supremacy?

Who Will Win the Pac 12 In 2014?

Oregon +120

The Ducks’ chances to win the Pac 12 are being grossly exaggerated at the +120 odds. They have to battle UCLA on the road and their yearly battle with Stanford is always tough.

UCLA +250

The Bruins are the wise guy choice to win the Pac 12 this season. They, like Oregon, return their starting QB and the defense should be much improved.

Arizona State +1000

Arizona State, like Arizona, should be a competitive team in the Pac 12. They won’t win the conference, but they could find a way to sneak into the championship game if USC and UCLA flounder.

Stanford +650

Like every season, this is the team that Oregon has to watch out for in the Pac 12 North. Stanford is always ready to play and in most years, the Cardinal D is better than the Ducks’.

USC +500

Is Steve Sarkisian good enough of a coach to take the Trojans back to the top of the Pac 12 South? Probably not in his first season since the Bruins are so good this year.

Washington +1500

Losing Sarkisian will hurt this program at first, but Washington does have a chance to surprise some teams later in the season because the pieces are there.

Arizona +3000

Rich Rod should have them more competitive this year than they were last year. The +3000 makes them an overlay because the offense could put up Oregon type numbers while the defense should be much quicker to the ball.

Washington State +5000

Here’s a team that could really improve. The +5000 doesn’t give them any chance to win the Pac 12 Championship, and they probably don’t, but they could cause some problems for a few of the favorites.

Oregon State +3200

Oregon State surprised last season. Couldn’t they surprise this season? The Beavers vs. the Ducks, named the Civil War, is one of the biggest football rivalry games year in and year out.

Utah +6600

The Utes don’t have enough to make waves in the Pac 12 this year. There just aren’t enough pieces for them to be competitive.

California +50000

California is projected to win two games.

Colorado +30000

The Buffaloes are predicted to lose every single Pac 12 game this season.

Pac 12 Championship Game Predictions – Stanford vs. UCLA

There’s been some talk that the Oregon football program is starting to go down. That makes sense since it will be the second season that the Ducks will have to play without Chip Kelly on the sidelines.

Oregon’s offense will be good, but Stanford should be able to control Oregon and win that matchup. A victory over Oregon gives Stanford the Pac 12 North. In the South, UCLA has a tougher road, but they play their biggest rivals at home. They take on USC at home as well as Stanford and Oregon.

The Bruins have a terrific shot of going undefeated before the Pac 12 Championship Game. If they manage to do so, it’s going to be hard for the Cardinal to upset them in the title match.

Pick: UCLA Bruins
