Can USC Cover Spread at Home Against Utah State?Noah Williams
The suddenly un-ranked USC Trojans will look to bounce back from their humbling Week 1 loss against Alabama to take down a Utah State team that got a solid win in its own opener. The big question surrounding this Week 2 matchup is whether or not the Trojans can cover the college football week 2 betting spread as a two-touchdown home favorite.

Bet The Utah State Aggies at +16.5 Because…
Running back Devante Mays rushed 18 times for a stunning 208 yards and three touchdowns in a span of 15 minutes to lead Utah State to a commanding 45-6 victory over Weber State on Thursday night.
Mays had a pair of 18-yard scoring runs in the first quarter and opened the second quarter with a 66-yard touchdown jaunt that made the score 21-0. Quarterback Kent Myers completed 11 of 17 passes for 100 yards in the win.

Bet The USC Trojans at -16.5 Because…
USC got completely overwhelmed in its emphatic 52-6 season-opening loss against No.1 Alabama while getting held without a touchdown for the first time since 1997.
Junior quarterback Max Browne waited three years to make his first start, but got roughed up while being limited to just 14 of 29 passing for 101 yards with one interception.
"Obviously one game does not make a season. We played a very good team," said head coach Clay Helton. "They played to their potential. The cold hard truth is we did not play up to ours."
Expert Pick & Final Score Prediction
I’ll get right to the point by saying that I like Utah State as a two-touchdown road dog against a USC team that is clearly overrated right now.
I know the Aggies are just 1-5 ATS in its last 6 games and 1-4 ATS in its last five road games, but USC is 1-6 ATS in its last seven games and 2-4 ATS in its last six home games.
The Aggies can score the ball pretty well and I expect them to keep the final score a lot closer than this game’s spread.
USC wins, but Utah State cover the spread with room to spare!
