College Football Bowl Game Parlay Picks

College football bowl season is here and use my NCAA football Bowl parlay picks to start the holiday season with a bang. Don’t get scared if you don’t know much about some of these teams because that is MY JOB! I have a couple betting favorites and an underdog to bet football wagers on and have a lot more coming for a big 2016 football bowl wagering year.

College Football Bowl Game 2-Team Parlay

  • Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles -4
  • Western Kentucky Hilltoppers -5

New Orleans Bowl: Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles vs UL Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns
When:  Saturday, Dec. 17 at 9:00 pm ET
Where: Mercedes-Benz Stadium, New Orleans, LA
TV: ESPN
Odds: Southern Miss. -4

Analysis: The New Orleans Bowl is definitely not College Football Playoff caliber as both Southern Miss and UL Lafayette had to win their final games to become bowl eligible at .500. The Golden Eagles lost 5 of their last 7 games while the local Ragin’ Cajuns won 4 of their last 6 to make it in.

UL Lafayette will have a big home feel here where they won all 4 bowl games 2011-14 played in the New Orleans Bowl bringing big attendance to all of them. The key to the Ragin’ Cajuns winning this will be running back Elijah McGuire who was team leader with almost 1,000 yards rushing with 8 touchdowns and 231 receiving yards

On the Southern Mississippi side they have QB Nick Mullens leading this team with 2,926 yards passing with 22 touchdowns, but he had to miss 2 of those losses with a concussion. He is fine now, and Southern Mississippi comes into this with top 25 rankings in both overall offense and defense.

Pick: Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles

Boca Raton Bowl: Memphis Tigers (8-4) vs Western Kentucky Hilltoppers (10-3)
When:  Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 7:00 pm ET
Where: FAU Stadium – Boca Raton, Florida
TV: ESPN
Odds: Western Kentucky -5

Analysis: Western Kentucky has a 7 game winning streak going, and two of their losses are to SEC schools No. 1 Alabama and Vanderbilt. Memphis closed with 2 wins against Cincinnati and Houston.
The Tigers are fully ready and excited for this Boca Raton Bowl, and the key for this team to have a chance to win will be to get it it to wide receiver Anthony Miller who had 1,283 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns.

The Hilltoppers have a stud receiver of their own in Taywan Taylor with 1,586 yards and 16 TDs ranking No. 2 in the nation for yards receiving. QB Mike White should have no problem getting it to Taylor as he has directing the No. 7 overall offense in the nation mostly because of their No. 5 passing offense averaging 336.8 yards a game.

This should be an easy cover for Western Kentucky.

Pick: Western Kentucky Hilltoppers

College Football Bowl Game 3-Team Parlay

  • Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles -4
  • Western Kentucky Hilltoppers -5
  • Wyoming Cowboys  +9

Poinsettia Bowl: BYU Cougars (8-4) vs Wyoming Cowboys (8-5)
When:  Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 9:00 pm ET
Where: Qualcomm Stadium – San Diego, CA
TV: ESPN
Odds: BYU -9

Analysis: BYU closed the season strong winning 7 of the last 8 games they played after losing 3 of 4 to start the season rough. They should probably shoot whoever made their schedule since they started the season with Arizona, Utah, UCLA and West Virginia.

The fact that Wyoming did beat No. 13 Boise State the week after they defeated BYU should hold some merit since that was the Cougars only loss in their last 8 games. Also, Boise State had 10 days to prepare for the Cowboys and still lost.

Running back Brian Hill who is in the top 10 in many FBS rushing categories will be the key to this game for the Cougars testing their 8th ranked rushing defense.

Pick: Wyoming Cowboys
