TCU Horned Frogs vs Minnesota Golden Gophers
Date: Thursday, September 3, 2015
Start Time: 9:00 PM ET
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Stadium: TCF Bank Stadium
Odds: TCU -14
Game Total: 57.5
TV Info: ESPN

Minnesota figures to have a very good defense this season. TCU’s offense won’t be just great, though. It’s going to be one of the top offenses in all of college football. Trevone Boykin will make sure that TCU covers in this matchup.

Baylor Bears vs SMU Mustangs
Date: Friday, September 4, 2015
Start Time: 7:00 PM ET
Location: Dallas, TX
Stadium: Gerald J. Ford Stadium
Odds: Baylor -34.5
Game Total: 74
Radio: Baylor vs SMU
TV Info: ESPN
Stream:  Watch ESPN

The Baylor Bears will have a Top 4 offense and a Top 5 defense. The defense returns 9 starters. The offense could be more effective with Seth Russell at the controls since he’s better at running with the football than Bryce Petty was. Baylor rolls to a big 50 point cover.

Washington Huskies vs Boise State Broncos
Date: Friday, September 4, 2015
Start Time: 10:15 PM ET
Location: Boise, ID
Stadium: Bronco Stadium
Odds: Broncos -10.5
Game Total: 56.5
Radio: Washington vs Boise State
TV Info: ESPN
Stream:  Watch ESPN

Washington should be better this season than they were last season. The problem with this Week 1 matchup is that Boise State returns 17 starters including its entire offensive line. Boise is the team to back to cover the spread.

Stanford Cardinal vs Northwestern Wildcats
Date: Saturday, September 5, 2015
Start Time: 12:00 PM ET
Location: Boise, ID
Stadium: Bronco Stadium
Odds: Stanford -12
Game Total: 45
Radio: Stanford vs Northwestern
TV Info: ESPN
Stream:  Watch ESPN

Northwestern could be a sneaky good team in the terrible outside of Ohio State and Michigan State Big Ten this season. Stanford is a quality program but it seems like Oregon, USC and the Arizona schools are separating themselves from a team like Stanford in the Pac 12. Go with Northwestern.

BYU Cougars vs Nebraska Cornhuskers
Date: Saturday, September 5, 2015
Start Time: 3:30 PM ET
Location: Lincoln, NE
Stadium: Memorial Stadium
Odds: Nebraska -6.5
Game Total: 65
Radio: BYU vs Nebraska
TV Info: ABC
Stream:  Watch ESPN

BYU +6 at Nebraska -6 – If QB Taysom Hill is ready, BYU’s offense should be able to hold its own versus Nebraska. Mike Riley, the new coach at Nebraska, will turn the Cornhuskers around, but he probably won’t have them ready to battle a Top 25 team like BYU in Week 1. Take the points on BYU.

Virginia Cavaliers vs UCLA Bruins
Date: Saturday, September 5, 2015
Start Time: 3:30 PM ET
Location: Pasadena, CA
Stadium: Rose Bowl
Odds: UCLA -17
Game Total: 53.5
Radio: UVA vs UCLA
TV Info: FOX
Stream:  Fox Sports Go

UCLA’s offense shouldn’t miss a beat if prized QB recruit Josh Rosen can win the job. Rosen ran an offense in high school very similar to what the Bruins run and RB Paul Perkins is a Heisman Trophy candidate. UCLA should have no trouble handling Virginia and covering the spread in this game.

Arizona State Sun Devils vs Texas A&M Aggies
Date: Saturday, September 5, 2015
Start Time: 7:00 PM ET
Location: Houston, TX
Stadium: NRG Stadium
Odds: Texas A&M -3
Game Total: 66.5
Radio: Arizona State vs Texas A&M
TV Info: ESPN
Stream:  Watch ESPN

Arizona State’s defense could be one of the best in the nation. But QB Kyle Allen at Texas A&M might be good enough to make Aggies’ fans forget all about Johnny Manziel and A&M’s defense could be tough for the Sun Devils to score on. Texas A&M should make a huge statement in Week 1 versus a very good Pac 12 team.

Wisconsin Badgers at Alabama Crimson Tide
Date: Saturday, September 5, 2015
Start Time: 8:00 PM ET
Location: Arlington, TX
Stadium: AT&T Stadium
Odds: Alabama -10.5
Game Total: 53.5
TV: ABC
Stream: WatchESPN
Radio: Wisconsin vs Alabama

Usually, Wisconsin’s rushing attack would strike fear into the hearts of any opponent. For the Badgers, though, this is a bad matchup. The only possible weakness on Alabama’s awesome defense is the secondary. If Wisconsin tries to pound the ball, Alabama could make them suffer. Wisconsin doesn’t appear to have the ability to pass the ball and the Badgers’ D is going to have a tough time stopping Alabama RB Derrick Henry. Roll Tide.

Ohio State Buckeyes at Virginia Tech Hokies
Date: Monday, September 7, 2015
Start Time: 8:00 PM ET
Location: Blacksburg, VA
Stadium: Lane Stadium
Odds: Ohio State -11.5
Game Total: 53.5
TV: ESPN
Stream: WatchESPN
Radio: Ohio State vs Virginia Tech

Virginia Tech will be better than the one that upset Ohio State 35 to 21 last season but Ohio State will be much better as well. The Buckeyes are loaded and should make quick work of a Virginia Tech team that won’t have enough on offense or defense to keep this one close.
