USC Vs Notre Dame Line & Expert Pick

College Football Week 10 Five ? Lock Picks

Vanderbilt takes on Florida this Saturday in one of College Football’s Week 10 Five Star Lock Picks. Usually, the game is a tough battle, but in this week’s version, Florida should be able to cover a 3 touchdown spread.

No. 9 Notre Dame travels to Pittsburgh to battle the tough Panthers in another Five Star Lock Pick play. Will Notre Dame suffer any let downs after getting past ranked Temple in Week 9? The other Lock Pick play has Navy facing fifteenth ranked Memphis. All of my college football week 9 five star lock picks are against the spread.

A Closer Look At My College Football Week 10 Five ? Lock Picks

Vanderbilt at No. 11 Florida
When: Saturday, Nov. 7 at 12:00 pm ET
Odds: Florida -21

Vanderbilt had played most of their opponents tough in 2015. The Commodores had stayed in games against South Carolina, Missouri and Ole Miss. But, things got really ugly when they took on 18 Houston in their last.

Houston obliterated Vandy 34 to 0 as a -11 point home favorite. Vanderbilt could only garner 185 total yards in that lost. Things wouldn’t be so bad if the Commodores didn’t face one of the better defenses in Florida this Saturday.

The Gators are allowing an average of 15.5 points and a total of 303 yards per game. Florida held Georgia to 3 points in a 27 to 3 win on the road in Week 9. Florida is 4 and 1 ATS in their last 5. They should roll over Vandy in this.

Pick: Florida

No. 9 Notre Dame at Pittsburgh
When: Saturday, Nov. 7 at 12:00 pm ET
Odds: Notre Dame -7.5

Temple matched up well with Notre Dame because the Owls had an offense that could put points up against Notre Dame’s defense. Temple probably should have beaten the Irish in Week 9.

But Pittsburgh doesn’t match up well at all with Notre Dame. Even though Pittsburgh’s defense isn’t bad, it’s allowing an average of 325.9 yards and 22.1 points per game, Pittsburgh’s offense isn’t good enough to go mano y mano with Notre Dame’s.

The Panther’s average only 26.1 points and 364 yards per matchup. Notre Dame’s offense averages 495.5 yards and 36.5 points per. The Irish should cover the spread in this battle.

Pick: Notre Dame

Navy at No. 15 Memphis
When:  Saturday, Nov. 7 at 7:00 pm ET
Odds: Memphis -8.5

Here’s another game where the styles should do in the dog. The stats imply that Navy has a legitimate shot against the spread versus Memphis on Saturday. Navy’s defense allows only 213.7 passing yards on average per game.

But against Notre Dame’s passing attack, Navy yielded 281 passing yards to freshman DeShone Kizer. Navy also yielded 178 rushing yards and a 4.5 per rush average to the Irish in that one. Memphis averages 202 rushing yards and 358 passing yards per game. QB Paxton Lynch is considered a Top 10 NFL Draft Pick. He could be the number one pick depending on who really needs a QB in the pro league after this season.

Memphis should rock Navy on Nov. 7.
