After another week of a top 5 nationally ranked team being upset what does college football week 11 betting hold? I am sure there will be a few upsets, but not in my week 11 expert picks.
Kansas State and TCU battle it out in a game that will determine which team’s dream of a berth in the College Football Playoff continues and which team goes down in flames.
Notre Dame travels to Arizona to take on the emerging team in the Pac 12 South, while Alabama battles LSU in Baton Rouge in what has become one of the most important college football games of the season.

My College Football Week 11 Expert Football Picks
No. 9 Kansas State Wildcats at No. 7 TCU Horned Frogs
When: Saturday, Nov. 8 at 7:00 pm ET
Betting Line: TCU -5
Analysis: Who would have thought that at the beginning of the season the Big 12 title would come down to TCU versus Kansas State? It was all about Oklahoma and Baylor.
TCU escaped West Virginia with a 31 to 30 victory. The Horned Frogs didn’t cover in that game, but it was their first contest after the 82 points that they hung on Texas Tech. The Horned Frogs can be forgiven if they had a letdown after that amazing explosion of points.
For Kansas State, a 48 to 14 beat down of Oklahoma State was about as impressive of a performance as any they’ve given this season. Kansas State is for real, but TCU is awfully tough to beat at home and the Horned Frogs figure to play much better this week than they did last week.
Pick: TCU -5
No. 8 Notre Dame Fighting Irish at No. 12 Arizona State Sun Devils
When: Saturday, Nov. 1 at 3:30 pm ET
Betting Line: Arizona State -2
Saturday's official kickoff time for @NDFootball at Arizona State is set for 1:36 MT (3:36 ET)
— Notre Dame Football (@NDFootball) November 3, 2014
Analysis: This game is not going to be a walk in the park for Notre Dame. Arizona State is actually favored, but the point spread figures to go the other way just because the Irish is the more popular team and everybody saw what Notre Dame did to Florida State.
The Sun Devils take sole possession of first place in the Pac-12 South. #FearTheFork

Notre Dame will be without linebacker Joe Schmidt, though. So, maybe the point spread stays where it’s at. Schmidt’s loss could hurt them against an ASU team that is averaging 483 yards and 34 points per game. Schmidt was the heart of the Notre Dame defense. Without him, things could get tough for the Irish to keep up in this game.
With that being written, the Irish are still the underdogs. They can get it done.
Pick: Notre Dame +2
No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide at No. 15 Louisiana State Tigers
When: Saturday, Nov. 8 at 8:00 pm ET
Betting Line: Alabama -6
Analysis: Some football handicappers may not believe it, but this is the marquee game this Saturday. Alabama versus LSU has been one of the best rivalries in all of college football, not just in the SEC.
— Alabama Football (@AlabamaFTBL) November 4, 2014
In this year’s version, LSU is the somewhat “hot” team after taking down Ole Miss two weeks ago. But the tactics that the Tigers used, rushing the ball down Ole Miss’s throat while holding the Rebels’ offense from advancing too far and continually pressuring QB Bo Wallace, may not work against an Alabama team with a defense that’s allowing only 77 yards per game on the ground.
Alabama got a week to prepare for the LSU Tigers. It’s tough to give LSU any points when the game is in Death Valley, but Alabama is likely to be in the minds of the Selection Committee this week. The Tide intends to stay there.
Pick: Alabama -6
