College Football Week 11 Moneyline Upset Picks

College Football Week 11 Moneyline Upset Picks

Week 10 was awesome. There weren’t many upsets except for Oklahoma State over TCU. Week 11 in college football promises more than one big upset just because so many teams are going into games as false favorites.

In Week 10, Pittsburgh lost to Notre Dame in a game where they performed much better than the score indicates. Pittsburgh battles reeling Duke on Nov. 14. Also on Saturday, Texas travels to take on West Virginia. Later that night, the up and coming Washington State Cougars go at it against UCLA in the Rose Bowl.

Even though I am listing the college football week 11 spread, you can be comfortable in using my straight up picks on the moneyline to win big.

A Closer Look At My College Football Week 11 Straight Up Moneyline Upset Picks

Pittsburgh at Duke
When: Saturday, Nov. 14 at 12:00 pm ET
Odds: Duke -3.5

Analysis: The wheels have really gone off Duke’s bandwagon. The Dookies were one of the favorites to make it all the way to the ACC Championship game. The Blue Devils sat on a 6 and 1 record. They looked like a legitimate team.

Then, the crazy loss to Miami occurred. After that loss, North Carolina destroyed Duke 66 to 31. Duke has given up 96 in only their last 2 games. That’s incredible.

Pittsburgh’s defense was good for the first quarter against the Irish. Pittsburgh’s offense was very good against Notre Dame’s defense in the second quarter. The Panthers have a great shot of upsetting Duke on the moneyline in this game on Saturday.

Pick: Pittsburgh

Texas at West Virginia
When:  Saturday, Nov. 14 at 12:00 pm ET
Odds: West Virginia -8.5

Analysis: West Virginia is like Duke. The Mountaineers were in line to be a force in the Big 12. Then, the wheels came off of their wagon and all of a sudden, West Virginia is likely to be looking for a new head coach in the off-season.

The Mountaineers finally beat a team after suffering through four straight losses to the best four teams in the Big 12:  Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU and Baylor.

Now, West Virginia takes on a team with a lot of fire, Texas, as a big time -8.5 point home favorite. The moneyline on this game should be plenty interesting since Texas is such a big underdog for no apparent reason. Take a stab on the Longhorns because if anything the spread should be no more than 4 points and it’s approaching 9.

Pick: Texas

Washington State at UCLA
When: Saturday, Nov. 14 at 10:45 pm ET
Odds: UCLA-9.5

Analysis: This game should be an easy one for UCLA, right?  After all, the Bruins have won three games in a row. A quick check and one realizes that the teams that UCLA beat just aren’t up to snuff. UCLA beat California, who’s looking more and more like one of the worst teams in the Pac 12 week to week. The Bruins also beat Colorado in a close 35 to 31 game as a -22.5 point road favorite. UCLA’s third win was against Oregon State, the worst team in the Pac 12.

Washington State has been on a roll since a 28 to 34 loss to Cal in their fourth game of the season. The only team that Washington State hasn’t beaten is Stanford. Stanford went into that game as a -10 point favorite. Washington State barely lost 28 to 30.

The Cougars are playing like the second best team in the Pac 12. Expect Washington State to win this matchup straight up.

Pick: Washington State
