College Football Week 12 Expert Picks

College Football Week 12 Expert Picks

With a handful of week’s left in the 2018 College Football season, I have a trio of Week 12 expert college football betting picks. Let’s get after it!

College Football Week 12 Expert Picks

#9 Ohio State at Maryland
When: Saturday, Nov. 17 at 12:00 pm ET
Where: Maryland Stadium, College Park, MD
Odds: Ohio State -17

Analysis: The Buckeyes finally got their defense going in an impressive 26-6 victory over Big Ten rival Michigan State in Week 11. Ohio State must now beat Maryland before their biggest game of the year in Week 13, the annual battle against the Michigan Wolverines.

Maryland figures to be a tougher out than the Spartans were. The Terrapins average 28.8 points. Maryland’s offense can exploit some of the things that Michigan State’s offense couldn’t. Not only that, but Ohio State’s already thinking about Michigan. There’s no way they aren’t.

I’m taking the points.

Pick: Maryland

Arkansas at #25 Mississippi State
When: Saturday, Nov. 17 at 12:00 pm ET
Where: Davis Wade Stadium, Starkville, MS
Odds: Mississippi State -19.5

Analysis: The Mississippi State Bulldogs look to bounce back from the tough 0-24 loss to #1 Alabama on Saturday when they host the reeling Arkansas Razorbacks. The Bulldogs had been on a 2-game winning streak before running into the top team in the nation.

There’s a good chance Mississippi State gets back on the winning track and covers the spread because Arkansas is one of the worst teams in college football. The Razorbacks battled LSU tough at home in Week 11.

Mississippi State could blank the Razorbacks on Saturday, though, because Arkansas battles the Bulldogs on the road. Miss State should beat Arkansas by close to 30 on Nov. 17.

Pick: Mississippi State

NC State at Louisville
When: Saturday, Nov. 17 at 12:20 pm ET
Where: Cardinals Stadium, Louisville, KY
Odds: NC State -15

Analysis: The NC State Wolfpack has lost 3-of-4. They should get back on the winning side on Saturday against the Louisville Cardinals. Louisville doesn’t have a head coach after the school fired Bobby Petrino earlier in the week.

Petrino led the Cardinals to a 2-8 straight up record. The Cardinals have gone 1-9 ATS this season. They should be 1-10 after the Wolfpack beats them by around 30 points on Saturday.

Pick: NC State
