College Football Week 12 Parlay Picks

Last week’s mammoth slate of six top 25 matchups (forgive the cliché) not only separated contenders from pretenders in the national rankings but also made for a great Saturday of football.

Many college football fans are still talking about Alabama’s big win over LSU in Death Valley. Or Arizona State’s victory over Notre Dame that all but killed the Fighting Irish’s final four dreams. Let’s not forget TCU’s rout of Kansas State in another crazy weekend of college football. Others, like those who bet on Auburn and Michigan State, are ready to put last weekend behind them and move on to my college football week 12 parlay picks.

The early Vegas lines for this week are out already, so let’s take a quick glance at why my week 12 parlay picks will win you big cash this week.

Let’s start with the biggest game of the week when Alabama hosts No. 1 ranked Mississippi State in a game that could go a long way in deciding which SEC team keeps its place in the College Football Playoff.

College Football Week 12 Two-Team Parlay Picks

  • Alabama Crimson Tide
  • Arizona Wildcats

No. 1 Mississippi State Bulldogs at No. 3 Alabama Crimson Tide
When: Saturday, Nov.15 at 3:30 pm ET
TV:  CBS
Betting Line: Alabama -6.5

Analysis: The victory over LSU was absolutely gigantic. It was the type of win that turns teams from very good to potential champions. Alabama had no right beating LSU on the Tigers’ home turf, much less beating them the way that they did.

The flaw Alabama has, though, is that they are only 3 and 6 ATS overall and 2 and 6 at home this season. They face a squad in Mississippi State that is 0 and 3 ATS in their last 3, however, after starting the season going 5 and 1against the spread.

This will be the Bulldogs’ fourth road game of the season. Alabama is a tough place to play and MSU gives up 126 yards rushing per game on defense. The Crimson Tide should get their running game going enough to keep Bulldog QB Dak Prescott on the bench for much of this game.

Pick: Alabama -6.5

Washington Huskies at No. 18 Arizona Wildcats
When:  Saturday, Nov.15 at 3:30 pm ET
TV: FOX
Betting Line: Arizona -9

Analysis: The Wildcats are one of the worst cover teams in all of college football, much less the Pac 12. Arizona is only 3 and 6 against the spread overall and 1 and 4 ATS at home this season. What’s worse is that they haven’t covered in their last 2 and are 1 and 4 against the spread in their last 5 games.

But, and it’s a big one, Washington is 1 and 3 ATS in their last 4 games. The problem with the Huskies this season is that they can’t seem to keep up against the top scoring teams in the Pac. Washington is only passing for 177 yards per game on average. That won’t cut it in a conference where spread offenses are the norm.

Pick: Arizona -9

College Football Week 12 Three-Team Parlay Picks

  • Alabama Crimson Tide
  • Arizona Wildcats
  • Georgia Bulldogs

No. 9 Auburn Tigers at No. 14 Georgia Bulldogs
When:  Saturday, Nov. 15 at 7:15 pm ET
TV: ESPN
Betting Line: Georgia -2.5

Analysis: As football handicappers we need to be honest with ourselves. So does Auburn whose defensive backfield got exposed mightily against a freshman QB, Kyle Allen, in the Tigers’ stunning 38 to 41 loss to Texas A&M on their home field as a big -23.5 point favorite.

Allen torched Auburn for 277 yards and 4 touchdowns. Yes, Auburn lost 3 fumbles, 2 of those occurred on the Aggies’ side of the 50 yard line, but they play Georgia on the road this Saturday and the Bulldogs average over 500 yards and 43 points per game.

Auburn is looking at another loss in the SEC West. This one by what should be a wide margin.

Pick: Georgia -2.5

College Football Week 12 Four-Team Parlay Picks

  • Alabama Crimson Tide
  • Arizona Wildcats
  • Georgia Bulldogs
  • Miami Hurricanes

No. 2 Florida State Seminoles at Miami Hurricanes
When:  Saturday, Nov.15 at 8:00 pm ET
TV:  ABC
Betting Line: Miami +2.5

Analysis: Last season, Florida State beat the ‘Canes 41 to 14. They dominated Miami from beginning to end in that game, but this betting line should drift much higher than Miami getting 2.5 points as a home dog against the Seminoles, making Miami an attractive play.

Florida State is 1 and 3 against the spread in their last 4 games. They’re also not nearly as formidable on defense this season as they were last season. The Virginia Cavaliers scored 20 against them, Louisville 31, and Notre Dame 27.

The ‘Canes have been on fire lately. Miami has won 3 games in a row. They’ve also gone 5 and 2 ATS in their last 7 and the defense is playing well enough for them to possibly upset Florida State straight up in this.  Since the betting line figures to float to Florida State -4.5 or even -5, Miami is the play for the parlay.

Pick: Miami +2.5
