All those showdown games on the schedule this past Saturday and it was a 20-point underdog that shook up the playoff race by downing another top 5 team. For the second straight week a Southeastern Conference contender took a potentially devastating loss when No. 3 Auburn was upset 41-38 at home by a Texas A&M team that came to Jordan-Hare Stadium reeling.
Before Saturday’s loss to Texas A&M, Auburn had won 14 straight home games, tied with Baylor for the longest active FBS home winning streak.

Week 12 in College Football offers three possible against the spread upset plays. Clemson takes on Georgia Tech on the road, while Nebraska travels to Madison to take on Wisconsin in a huge Big Ten battle. The third possible upset occurs in Oklahoma where Texas, fresh off of a victory over West Virginia, battles Oklahoma State.
College Football Week 12 Against The Spread Upset Picks
No. 17 Clemson Tigers at No. 23 Georgia Tech Wildcats
When: Saturday, Nov. 15 at 12:00 pm ET
Betting Line: Clemson -3
Analysis: If Clemson doesn’t get back freshman QB Deshaun Watson for this game, the betting odds could actually flip with Georgia Tech being the favorite. Quarterback Cole Stoudt hasn’t been very good filling in for Watson lately. Stoudt’s QB to interception ratio is 5 to 5.
Georgia Tech doesn’t have a great defense but facing Stoudt should help and the Yellow Jackets’ rushing attack is close to magical. G-Tech rushes for 335.6 yards per game. The rushing yards lead to an average of close to 40 points scored per contest.

Clemson only allows 90.9 rushing yards per game, but the Tigers are 0 and 4 against the spread in their last 4 games and they’ve played Syracuse, Boston College and Wake Forest in their last 3 matchups. Georgia Tech is the play.
NCAAF Week 12 ATS Pick: Georgia Tech +3
No. 11 Nebraska Cornhuskers at No. 22 Wisconsin Badgers
When: Saturday, Nov. 15 at 3:30 pm ET
Betting Line: Wisconsin -6
Analysis: Ameer Abdullah is questionable for this game against the Wisconsin Badgers. Even if he doesn’t return, the Cornhuskers are averaging a ridiculous 280.7 yards per game on the ground. Nebraska is also 3 and 0 against the spread this season; a sign that the ‘Huskers should be competitive throughout in this one.

Wisconsin has lost only 2 games all season long and they’re undefeated at home. But they’ve beaten Illinois, Maryland, Rutgers and Purdue in their last 4 contests. This matchup against Nebraska figures to be much tougher.
The Cornhuskers will win the Freedom Trophy. Bet on it.

Texas Longhorns at Oklahoma State Cowboys
When: Saturday, Nov. 15 at 7:30 pm ET
Betting Line: Texas -2
Analysis: Neither team is ranked, but this will be a nationally televised game and it will provide football bettors yet another money line upset possibility in home team Oklahoma State, who is +2 on the betting line.
The Longhorns have finally put it altogether in their last 2 games. After starting out the season going 4 and 4 against the spread and 3 and 5 straight up, Texas has won 2 games in a row by a combined score of 67 to 29. They dominated Texas Tech on the road 34 to 13 before upsetting then ranked West Virginia 33 to 16 in Week 11.
Oklahoma State has lost 3 games in a row straight up and are 1 and 5 against the spread in their last 6 contests. But the Cowboys’ last 3 games have been against TCU, West Virginia and Kansas State. TCU and Kansas State are arguably the 2 best teams in the Big 12 and West Virginia, until the loss to Texas, was looking very good as well.
The Cowboys could surprise in this one. This is especially true since Texas might suffer a letdown after the big win over the Mountaineers.
NCAAF Week 12 ATS Pick: Oklahoma State
