College Football Week 4 ATS Betting Analysis
Utah -1 ½ vs. USC
Utah has gone about it’s business. The Utes are now 3-0 while USC is 2-1. The Trojans had a ton of trouble against BYU in Provo. Kedon Slovis, USC’s QB, might have to scramble on every play. Utah should easily cover.
Miami Ohio vs. Ohio State -37 ½
The Ohio State Buckeyes might cover in every game this season. They faced a decent, high-scoring, Indiana squad on the road in their last. Indiana had gone 7-1 ATS in their last 8 versus OSU. Buckeyes easily covered versus Indiana. They’ll dominate Miami Ohio by over 40.
Pick: Ohio State
UCF -10 vs. Pittsburgh
Like Ohio State, Central Florida might cover in every game. The Knights dominated Stanford. Pitt played Penn State tough. That was a mirage game. The Panthers aren’t good enough to keep up with UCF.
Nebraska -7 ½ vs. Illinois
That’s the Illinois Illini football team we’ve grown to love! The one that loses SU to a MAC squad as a -7 home favorite. Huskers roll.
Alabama -39 vs. Southern Miss
Bama is a bad covering team. But, the Golden Eagles struggled against Troy and couldn’t keep it close versus Mississippi State. Roll Tide, roll.
LSU -19 vs. Vanderbilt
Vanderbilt can step it up once in a while. They won’t on Saturday, though, because they’re 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 after losing against the spread. Oh, they also play the fourth-ranked team in the nation.
Oregon -10 vs. Stanford
David Shaw is a great coach. Great coaches need good players, though. Shaw doesn’t have good enough players to keep this battle versus Oregon close.
Notre Dame +12 ½ vs. Georgia
It’s difficult to go against Georgia, but Notre Dame is easily the best team the Bulldogs have faced yet this season. Georgia must stop Ian Book and an Irish offense averaging 50.5 per. The Dawgs should win. It’s hard to see them winning by 13 points.
Pick: Notre Dame
Louisville vs. Florida State -8
FSU finally got to put a checkmark in the win column after a victory over ranked Virginia. From now until the end of the season, the Seminoles should be competitive. They won’t beat a team like Clemson, but they’ll compete and play hard. Just competing should lead to a win and cover against Louisville.
Pick: Florida State
