College Football Week 7 Parlay Picks

College Football Week 7 Parlay Picks – Wolverines + Irish + Devils = ???

Some major programs are involved in this week’s College Football Parlay Picks. USC, Notre Dame, Michigan State, Michigan and Top 5 ranked Utah are all involved in the picks for Week 7.

The first game pits two inter-state rivals against each other when #7 Michigan State travels to Ann Arbor to face #12 Michigan. The second matchup is one of the top rivalry games in college football history. USC, with their coach taking a leave of absence, travels to South Bend to battle Notre Dame. The final pick in the parlay pits resurgent ASU against top dog in the Pac-12 Utah.

My College Football Week 7 Two-Team Parlay Pick

  • Michigan -6.5
  • Notre Dame -5.5

#7 Michigan State Spartans at #12 Michigan Wolverines
When: Saturday, Oct. 13 at 3:30 pm ET
Odds: Michigan -6.5

Analysis: The Spartans haven’t covered a spread all season long. In their two road games of the season, Michigan State actually almost lost straight up. Versus Western Michigan in Week 1, Sparty won 37 to 24. That wasn’t as bad as what happened last week when the Spartans could only beat Rutgers 31 to 24 as a -12 point favorite. Michigan State isn’t a bad team. But, it’s hard to say that they’re one of the top teams in the nation. The best team that they have beaten is supposedly Oregon who is 3 and 3 on the season.

This is in contrast to Michigan who has beaten BYU, Maryland and Northwestern by a combined 97 to 0 in their last 3 games. Michigan’s defense is one of the top two unites in the nation along with Alabama’s. The offense has excelled with Jim Harbaugh as the head coach. The Wolverines should cover the 6.5 point spread.

USC Trojans at #14 Notre Dame Irish
When: Saturday, Oct. 13 at 7:30 pm ET
Odds: Notre Dame -5.5

Analysis: Coach Steve Sarkisian has taken a leave of absence to get better. That’s a great thing for Sarkisian, but it’s not such a great thing for the Trojans.

Not having their top dog available will be an issue if only because Notre Dame Coach Brian Kelly is one of the best in the nation. Kelly almost coached his team to a win over Top 10 ranked Clemson in Death Valley a couple of weeks ago.

The Irish is one of two one loss teams, Alabama is the other, that probably deserves some love from the Selection Committee. Unfortunately, the only other ranked team on the schedule right now is one loss Stanford now that USC has taken a dump. Still, Kelly’s going to have his guys fired up to kick a rival while it’s down. Notre Dame should roll.

My College Football Week 7 Three-Team Parlay Pick

  • Michigan -6.5
  • Notre Dame -5.5
  • Arizona State +7

Arizona State Sun Devils at #4 Utah Utes
When:  Saturday, Oct. 17 at 10:00 pm ET
Odds: Utah -7.5

Analysis: One thing was apparent in Utah’s 30 to 24 win over California last Saturday. Once the Utes get a lead, they prefer to slow the game down. Utah had a 17 point lead at one time. They didn’t keep pushing and California made it close towards the end.

The issue for Utah against ASU is that the Sun Devils’ defense can really put pressure on opposing quarterbacks. The Sun Devils have won two games in a row in impressive fashion. They beat UCLA 38 to 23 as a -12.5 road dog. Then, they beat Colorado 48 to 23 as a -16.5 point home favorite.

ASU is rounding into the team that many thought that they would be before the season started. Both the offensive and defensive lines are playing tough while QB Mike Bercovici has thrown 7 touchdowns to only 2 interceptions in his last 2 games. Watch out for the Sun Devils in this matchup. They could win it straight up.
