College Football Week 8 Parlay Picks

It’s Week 8 in college football, can you believe it? This week’s best College Football Parlay Picks are all about the favorites.

Arkansas hosts Auburn in a battle between two of the mid-level teams in the SEC. Around the same time as the Auburn versus Arkansas game, Clemson kicks it off against Miami on the road. Then, an hour later, the third game of the Three-Team Parlay takes place when Navy hosts Tulane. Don’t forget to check out our Bonus 6-Team Parlay Pick at the end of the article.

College Football Week 8 Two-Team Parlay Pick

  • Arkansas -5.5
  • Clemson -6.5

Auburn at Arkansas
When: Saturday, Oct. 24 at 12:00pm ET
Odds: Arkansas -5.5

Analysis: Auburn finally played a decent game on the road in their 30 to 27 win over Kentucky as a -2 point favorite. The Tigers racked up 407 total yards against a decent Kentucky defense.
But Auburn’s defense allowed the Wildcats to put up 497 total yards. Kentucky also rushed for a very good 138 yards and a 4.2 per carry average. It feels as if Auburn got lucky when beating Kentucky in that game.

They won’t get lucky against Arkansas. The Razorbacks got a week off after losing 14 to 27 on the road to Alabama. What football handicappers should notice is that Arkansas covered the spread in that game since they were a +15 point dog. The Razorbacks actually were ahead at halftime 7 to 3. If Alabama could only score in the fourth quarter against Arkansas’ defense, what will Auburn do in this game?  It looks like tough times again for Auburn in this one.

#6 Clemson at Miami FL
When: Saturday, Oct. 24 at 12:00 pm ET
Odds: Clemson -6.5

Analysis: Clemson has slowly turned into one of the top teams in the nation. The Tigers had trouble beating Notre Dame in Death Valley in a 24 to 22 victory as a -3 point favorite. What that game ended up doing is give Clemson the confidence to compete. The Tigers’ offense is what has been impressive in the last two wins. Clemson dominated Georgia Tech 43 to 24 a couple of weeks ago before destroying Boston College 34 to 17 this past Saturday. Clemson’s offense is as good as any in the ACC.

Miami’s defense yielded 33 points to Nebraska, 34 points to Cincinnati, and 29 points to Florida State earlier in the season. This past Saturday, Miami’s D held Virginia Tech to 20 points in a 30 to 20 win.

Clemson’s offense is much better than Virginia Tech’s. The Tigers should have no trouble scoring over 30 and possibly over 40 against Miami in this matchup. Expect Clemson to roll.

College Football Week 8 Three-Team Parlay Pick

  • Arkansas -5.5
  • Clemson -6.5
  • Navy -23

Tulane at Navy
When:  Saturday, Oct. 24 at 1:00 pm ET
Odds: Navy -23

Analysis: This game probably isn’t on most football handicappers’ radar. Well, after reading this, it should be!

Tulane is a terrible football team. The Green Wave’s offense averages less than 20 points and less than 300 yards per matchup. Tulane’s defense yields an average of 38.4 points and over 425 yards per game.

Navy lost 24 to 41 to Notre Dame in their last. Before the loss to the Irish, Navy had won 4 games in a row. The Midshipmen had also covered in 4 straight. Navy is averaging over 35 points and over 392 yards per matchup. Navy should easily cover the spread against Tulane on Saturday.

Bonus 6-Team Parlay Pick

  • Memphis -11 over Tulsa
  • Utah State -4.5 over San Diego State
  • Pitt -6.5 over Syracuse
  • Houston -21.5 over UCF
  • Washington State +7 over Arizona
  • Utah +3.5 over USC
