College Football Week 9 Parlay Picks

When I starting my college football week 9 parlay picks I selected the Oregon Ducks over the California Golden Bears and the Kansas Sate Wildcats over the Texas Longhorns. That was the easy part. I now have a winning two-team parlay.

I would recommend anyone parlaying college football games this week to have those two winners involved somehow.

Two-Team Parlay Picks

  • Oregon Ducks -17
  • Kansas State Wildcats -10

No. 7 Oregon Ducks at California Golden Bears
When: Friday, Oct. 24 at 10:00 pm ET
TV:  FOX Sports 1
Betting Line:  Oregon -17

Analysis: A couple of offensive line starters have returned to the Ducks in the last couple of weeks, which is why the offense has started to resemble the one that put the Ducks into the hunt for the College Football Playoffs earlier in the season.

The problem with California is that the defense is a mess. The unit allowed Colorado to score 56 against it. It allowed Washington State to rack up 59 and Washington to score 31. If the Ducks’ O-Line continues to get back on track, California shouldn’t score enough to keep pace with Oregon.

Pick: Oregon -17

Texas Longhorns at No. 11 Kansas State Wildcats
When:  Saturday, Oct. 25 at 12:00 pm ET
TV: ESPN
Betting Line:  Kansas State -10

Analysis: Kansas State’s upset over Oklahoma should put them into the hunt for a spot in the College Football Playoffs. They have a lot more work to do and it would have been better if Oklahoma had been undefeated, but the victory is still big.

Don’t expect K-State coach Billy Snyder to let up on the gas pedal this Saturday when the Wildcats meet the reeling Texas Longhorns. A 48 to 45 home loss to Iowa State in Week 8 is all football handicappers need to know about the ‘Horns chances in this contest. Expect a blow-out since Texas is 1 and 6 ATS in the last 7 meetings between these two.

Pick: Kansas State -10

Three-Team Parlay Picks

  • Oregon Ducks -17
  • Kansas State Wildcats -10
  • Mississippi State -14

No. 1 Mississippi State Bulldogs at Kentucky Wildcats
When:  Saturday, Oct. 25 at 3:30 pm ET
TV:  CBS
Betting Line:  Mississippi State -14

Analysis: It’s tough to not like the Bulldogs in this one. Two touchdowns may seem like a lot, but Mississippi State is a covering machine this season.

The Bulldogs are 7 and 0 ATS in their last 7 conference games, 10 and 1 ATS in their last 11 games overall and 4 and 0 ATS in their last 4 games on the road. They also have one of the top quarterbacks in college football playing for them in Dak Prescott.

Kentucky has gone 5 and 2 against the spread this season. That’s pretty good, but the Wildcats lost 3 to 41 to LSU in Week 8 and Mississippi State handled LSU with ease. This game could get out of hand before the second quarter.

Pick: Mississippi State -14

Four-Team Parlay Picks

  • Oregon Ducks -17
  • Kansas State Wildcats -10
  • Mississippi State -14
  • Nebraska Cornhuskers -16.5

Rutgers Scarlet Knights at No. 16 Nebraska Cornhuskers
When:  Saturday, Oct. 25 at 12:00 pm ET
TV:  ESPN 2
Betting Line:  Nebraska -16.5

Analysis: Since starting out the season going 4 and 1 against the spread, Rutgers has since gone 0 and 2. Ohio State put a serious beat down on the Scarlet Knights in Week 8, pummeling Rutgers for 56 points.

Rutgers allowed the Buckeyes to rush for 324 yards in the game. That’s a bad sign for the Scarlet Knights because Nebraska averages 293.6 yards per game. Ameer Abdullah has turned into one of the best running backs in all of college football. He should have a field day against the Rutgers’ defense.

The Scarlet Knights are 2 and 7 ATS in their last 9 games following a straight up loss and 1 and 5 ATS in their last 6 games in October. Nebraska figures to roll in this contest.

Pick: Nebraska -16.5
