Washington State Cougars Vs Washington Huskies Odds & Betting Predictions
Washington State Cougars (9-2) at Washington Huskies (9-2)
When: Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 8:00 PM ET
Where: Husky Stadium
Odds: Washington Huskies -9
Washington State has won two straight and took out the Utah Utes 33-25 two weeks ago while never trailing their conference rivals.
Quarterback Luke Falk completed 40 of 69 passes for 311 yards with three touchdowns but also tossed two interceptions in the win. The Cougars did force a whopping six turnovers by intercepting three passes and recovering the fumbles from the Utes.
Washington bounced back from its season-altering loss against Stanford in Week 11 to beat Utah 33-30 last weekend as quarterback Jake Browning completed 26 of 35 passes for 354 yards and two touchdowns while running back Myles Gaskin added two rushing scores and six catches for 114 yards and another touchdown in the win. The Huskies picked off one pass and never committed a turnover against the Utes.
While I was very high on Washington as a potential playoff participant for the second straight season prior to their loss to Stanford. Right now, I can see why 63 percent of public bettors like Washington State to cover the chalk as a near double-digit road rod in this contest.
Washington has allowed an identical 30 points in each of its last two games and that just doesn’t bode well against a Washington State team that has an explosive offense and a very good quarterback in Luke Falk. With the Cougars going 5-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning record and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 conference games, I’m thinking this game is going down to the wire.
While I’m not prepared to pick the Cougars for the outright road win, I do like them to cover the chalk in a thriller, with the winner of this affair possibly getting a shot for the Pac-12 title if Sanford loses to Notre Dame.
Pick: Washington State +9
