Football Odds – Baylor Bears At Buffalo BullsJosh Bailey
The high-scoring Baylor Bears (2-0 SU, 2-0 ATS, 1-1 O/U) have played virtually mistake-free football in winning each of their first two games handily this season.
Now, the best team in Texas (maybe) will look to extend their winning ways when they hit the road to take on the Buffalo Bulls (1-1 SU, 0-2 ATS, 2-0 O/U) as 35 point football odds favorites in week 3. Click here for more college football odds

Football Odds – Baylor Bears At Buffalo Bulls
Buffalo kicked off its 2014 campaign by man-handling Duquesne to win 38-28, though the Bulls never came close to covering the spread as an insane 28.5-point home favorite.
While Buffalo lost to Army 47- 39 in their Week 2 matchup, the Bulls still walked away feeling pretty positive after nearly pulling off a huge comeback. Despite trailing 47- 17 in the fourth quarter, the Bulls never quit and scored 22 straight points to get back in the game, though their last-second attempt to score ended up just short.
Buffalo ‘s junior signal-caller Joe Licata completed 35 of 50 passes for 396 yards and five touchdowns, though his three interceptions, which Army turned into scores, did hurt the team.
”You’ve got to play each down,” coach Jeff Quinn said. ”You’ve got to be sound in everything that you do, and we weren’t able to do that consistently. Bottom line is how we responded offensively.”
The Baylor Bears have looked absolutely overpowering in laying the smackdown on their first two opponents in 2014.
First, Baylor routed SMU 45-0 to win its opener and cover the NCAA college football betting odds as a 31.5-point home favorite. The Bears followed that up by pounding Northwestern State 70- 6 in one of those early-season mismatches I absolutely abhor.
Baylor easily covered the spread as an insane 47-point home favorite but now, the Bears will play their third game in 13 days to open the season.

“We’ve got to flip and play on the road on national TV,” head coach Art Briles said. “It’s not Oklahoma or Louisiana , it’s a pretty good journey. We have to take care of business Friday in Buffalo .”
After suffering two cracked vertebrae in his lower back in a 45-0 season-opening win over SMU, Bears’ starting quarterback Petty sat out against Northwestern State . He’ll start this Week 3 contest for Baylor even though sophomore quarterback Seth Russell threw for 438 yards and five touchdowns in the first half of Baylor’s romp over Northwestern State . According to Briles, Petty wanted to start against Northwestern State .
“If he could have, I would have suited him up to have him for emergency,” Briles said. “But he’s not that far along. He wasn’t close and there was no way he was going to get on the field.”
Betting Analysis: While I’m not a fan of these early-season high lines as powerful programs beat up on their far weaker counterparts, I do like Baylor to win this contest and cover the spread seeing as how they ran roughshod all over the Bulls in last season’s 70-13 victory as a 28.5-point home favorite.
The Buffalo Bulls are 1-5 ATS in their last six non-conference games and a winless 0-4 ATS in their last four games overall.
With the Baylor Bears going 4-0 ATS in their last four games in September and 6-1 ATS in their last seven non-conference games, I think they’re the easy pick to cover the spread and retain their perfect ATS mark trough three games.
My Pick: Baylor -35 Points
