How To Bet The Georgia Vs Tennessee LineJosh Bailey
Georgia did what they always do when facing a good team. The Bulldogs folded. After fighting their way to a Top 10 ranking, Georgia and its fans were plenty excited to face Alabama last Saturday.
What happened could have been expected. Georgia was exposed as a team that just isn’t good enough to even contend with teams like the Crimson Tide. The Bulldogs lost 10 to 38. Now, Georgia has to go on the road to face dangerous Tennessee in Week 6. Will the Bulldogs bounce back? Or, will the beat down that they received from Alabama affect them versus the Vols?

Why Bet On #19 Georgia (-3) to Beat Tennessee
Tennessee has lost the last four to Georgia by eight points or fewer
As bad as Georgia played, running back Nick Chubb broke former Georgia great Herschel Walker’s record for consecutive games with at least 100 yards rushing. Chubb rushed for 146 yards off of 20 carries versus Alabama.
For the season, Chubb has now rushed for 745 yards. He’s scored 8 combined touchdowns. He’s also caught 4 passes for 32 yards. Chubb isn’t as impossible to stop as LSU’s Leonard Fournette because he doesn’t have the size that Fournette has. But, he’s pretty difficult to control. Also, all Chubb needs is a small crease in order to bust through and take it to the house.
Tennessee’s defense is going to have an impossible time stopping Nick Chubb. The Vols’ D allows 174.2 yards per game on defense. Tennessee allowed Arkansas to rush for 288 yards from 49 carries. The Razorbacks averaged 5.9 yards per carry versus Tennessee.
If the Volunteers don’t commit to containing Nick Chubb, they’ll have no shot in this game. Chubb’s going to get his yards. Your best bet is to just try and slow him down some.
Why Bet On Tennessee to Beat #19 Georgia (-3)
The Bulldogs’ QB situation is a mess, and the offense might wind up being one-dimensional.
Poor Tennessee has been in every game that they’ve played in so far this season yet they only have a 2 and 3 record to show for it.
In Week 2 versus Oklahoma, Tennessee ran out to a 17 to 3 halftime lead. The Vols gave it up in the second half and ended up losing to Bob Stoops’ bunch 24 to 31. Versus Florida in The Swamp, Tennessee ran out to a 17 to 7 halftime lead. At one time, the score was Tennessee 20 and Florida 14. Tennessee ended up losing 28 to 27.
Versus Arkansas in their last game, Tennessee couldn’t shut the door on the Razorbacks. The Vols ended up losing 20 to 24. Will Tennessee finally win a close game on Saturday? The guess here is that Georgia is so shell shocked from the Alabama loss that they won’t show their best on Oct. 10. Tennessee can pull off the upset. My final score prediction is Tennessee 31, Georgia 30.
