Western Michigan rolled all over Murray State in its convincing 52-20 Week 3 win as quarterback Zach Terrell completed a blistering 25 of 30 passes for 355 yards and four touchdowns and running back Jarvion Franklin rushed 27 times for 161 yards and one touchdown.

Ohio State managed to beat Northern Illinois 20-13 in Week 3 but they certainly didn’t look very good in doing so and never, ever came close to covering the spread as whopping 34-point home favorites.

The Buckeyes were lifted to victory when linebacker Darron Lee returned an interception 41 yards for a touchdown late in the third quarter.

"I knew we needed something," Lee said. "I just tried to make something happen."

"Our defense was amazing. They saved us," Ohio State left tackle Taylor Decker said.

How To Bet This Game:

57 percent of the betting public likes Ohio State to win and cash in as a nearly four-touchdown home favorite, but I’m going the other way with my Week 4 pick on this matchup, seeing as how Western Michigan played No. 2 Michigan State extremely tough in their 34-27 Week 1 loss to the national championship hopeful Spartans.

Not only that, but the Broncos are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games following an SU win and 5-1 ATS in their last half-dozen games in the month of September. Conversely, Ohio State is just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games following an ATS loss and a discouraging 1-4 ATS in their last five home games. Western Michigan has gone 12-3 ATS in their last 15 games overall and 6-2 ATS in their last eight road games. That won’t help them against the top team in the nation.

As far as the Over/Under Total is concerned, a convincing 63 percent of the public betting community likes the Over 58 total points, but I disagree, mostly because Ohio State’s defense has been rock-solid since allowing Virginia Tech to put 24 points on the board in their regular season opener. The Under is 6-2 in Western Michigan’s last eight game against a team with a winning record.

To summarize, I am picking the Buckeyes to beat the Broncos while covering the 27-point spread as favorites. I am also betting the Under 58-points total. My final score prediction is Western Michigan 10, Ohio State 42.
