You remember when the season starts that we have certain power houses that play small schools to help with their publicity and things like that, the spreads are usually ridiculously high that seems like the only reason the game is even happening, so one can embarrass the other. This will be a very similar situation as the best team in the country for the last two seasons walk in to Commonwealth field to play the worst team in the SEC. The Crimson Tide know this is one of those games that they can easily win this game but they can also lose some key players to injury if they try to much, expect the Wildcats to play a much looser Alabama team with much of the reserves playing the second half.

The Crimson Tide are on their way to more than likely another Championship game, they have really stepped up the defense even though they have had issues this year with player conduct in their secondary. QB AJ McCarron is really putting on a show for the NFL scouts as he will be entering the draft at the end of this season. There is not much they need to change to win this game, expect a lot of slant routes with an explosive run game through the middle.

The Kentucky Wildcats know and understand that this is not possibility, they will be looking to not get their butts kicked, the main issue with this Wildcats team is their lack of a productive offense, the QB can’t run, the receivers can’t get open against opposing safeties and the run game is really the only thing keeping them on the field. Jalen Whitlow has carried the ball 46 times for 238 yards and 3 scores but he will have his hands full in this one as Alabama comes in with the 4th best run defense in the nation.

What to Expect:

Well, really there is not much to expect, this game will play out exactly has it should with a dominating performance by the Crimson Tide, they have too much offense and defense in their bench for the Wildcats to even look to make any moves on them. I really expect this spread to scare most people off or look to tease it down at -28 they should cover it without a problem.
