Bet on Miami -14 because…
The magic of the Turnover Chain is real!
After posting their 15th consecutive win dating to last season with their come-from-behind 44-28 win over Virginia last week, the Hurricanes will be facing a Pitt team that saw its chance of keeping alive hopes of reaching bowl eligibility lost.
Bet on Pittsburgh +14 because…
Pittsburgh is 3 and 1 against the spread in their last 4 games. The Panthers beat Duke 24 to 17 as a +9.5 dog. Pitt beat UVA 31 to 14 as a -1 favorite. The Panthers did lose straight up to North Carolina as a close to 10-point favorite. They came back strong when losing 14 to 20 to Virginia Tech as a 14-point dog in their last.
Miami at Pittsburgh Betting Predictions
This is a tough game to handicap. Although Miami should be more focused versus Pitt than they were against the Cavaliers, Pittsburgh should also be more focused on Miami than they’ve been versus any other opponent this season.
Pitt’s saving grace this season is to beat Miami. The Panthers won’t get into a bowl game unless they upset the Hurricanes. Heck, the Panthers might not even get a bowl berth should they beat Miami straight up.
The Hurricanes could forget that Pittsburgh is a real football team. I’m calling the money line upset. I believe Pitt hands Miami their first loss of the season.
