Can Struggling Arkansas Hold it Down at Home Against Suddenly Incendiary Missouri in Week 13 SEC Showdown?
The Arkansas Razorbacks would love to end their 2017 season on a positive note in a season that hasn’t produced a bunch of them. Unfortunately, doing so may prove to be a bit difficult, seeing as how the Missouri Tigers are suddenly, one of the hottest and highest scoring teams in the country!
The Las Vegas oddsmakers have listed the College Football Week 13 spread at -11 in favor Missouri over Arkansas. The over/under is an astronomical 70-points.

Bet Mizzou Because…
Missouri has caught fire by winning five consecutive games and scoring at least 45 points in every single game along the way. The Tigers throttled Vanderbilt 45-17 this past weekend as quarterback Drew Lock passed 235 yards and three touchdowns to lead the way to victory.
Running back Larry Rountree III added a touchdown run while wide receiver Albert Okwuegbunam had five catches for 116 yards and a pair of scores. Mizzou has not allowed more than 17 points over its last three games while routing Vanderbilt, Tennessee, and Florida over the span.
Bet Arkansas Because…
Arkansas has dropped two straight and five of seven and blew a lead against Mississippi State to end up losing 28-21 at home this past weekend. Quarterback Austin Allen completed 12 of 18 passes for 124 yards, but failed to throw a TD pass in the loss while running back David Williams led Arkansas with 75 yards and a touchdown on eight and fellow back Devwah Whaley added another rushing score in the loss. The Arkansas defense gave up two passing TDs in the loss and a pair of rushing touchdowns. So what I am saying is there is no reason to back the Razorbacks.
Mizzou Vs Arkansas ATS Pick
For this Week 13 matchup, I’m fully expecting red-hot Missouri to pound the struggling Razorbacks into submission early in what looks like it could be head coach Brett Bielema’s final season leading Arkansas. Missouri is a perfect 5-0 ATS in their last 5 conference games and even more impressive 7-0 ATS in their last 7 games overall while Arkansas has gone 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 home games. To put it mildly, go with the 54 percent of public bettors that like the Missouri Tigers in this one. Arkansas is 0-6 ATS in its last six games following an ATS win and has the look of a team that wants its season to be over with, like now!
