Oklahoma Sooners Vs TCU Horned Frogs Odds & Final Score Prediction
TCU hasn’t been an ultra-impressive 3 and 1 straight up football team. Against the spread, the Horned Frogs are 1 and 3. Oklahoma is 0-3 against the spread. The Sooners have already lost straight up to Houston and Ohio State

Bet on Oklahoma Because…
Oklahoma is a better team than TCU. The Sooners didn’t play cupcakes in their first 3 games. The 23 to 33 loss wasn’t as bad as many thought now that Houston has turned into a perennial Top 10 team this season. The 24 to 45 loss to Ohio State was actually to be expected considering how good Ohio State’s defense had been playing leading up to the game. Even Louisiana-Monroe, whom Oklahoma beat 59 to 17, isn’t a cakewalk team. The Warhawks are 3-0 against the spread this season.
Bet on TCU Because…
The Horned Frogs put it all together in their 33 to 3 win over SMU in their last game. TCU had been underwhelming in their first 3 games of the season. The 59 to 41 win over South Dakota State was ugly because TCU allowed SDST to score 41 points. The 38 to 41 loss to Arkansas was just plain bad while the 41 to 20 win over Iowa State left a lot to be desired. But TCU looked great when holding SMU’s offense to only 320 yards and a 2.2 per rush average.
Final Score Prediction
If handicappers had any faith in TCU, the Horned Frogs would only be +1 home dogs against Oklahoma in this game. Maybe, that’s where the line will end up. I don’t think so.
To me, Oklahoma has a good chance of beating TCU by at least 10 points in this match up. Oklahoma has fought hard against two exceptional teams: Houston, who is ranked 7th in the nation, and Ohio State, who is ranked 2nd.
Sure, the Buckeyes pummeled Oklahoma. But Oklahoma never quit in that game. The Sooners should have no trouble beating TCU rather handily in this one.
