Online Football Lines Have Alabama As 12 Point Favorites Vs. Texas A&M Preview:

Texas A&M (5-2 SU, 3-4 ATS) is coming off a 35-20 loss against now, No. 1 Mississippi in Week 7 in which the Aggies got man-handled from start to finish and failed to cover the spread as a 2.5-point home favorite.

Quarterback Kenny Hill struggled for the second consecutive game despite throwing for 401 yards and two touchdowns. The sophomore signal-caller also had threw interceptions and lost a fumble for the Aggies.

"I had three turnovers — two of them were for touchdowns," Hill said. "We can’t win like that. That’s on me."

Texas A&M also lost to Mississippi State and Heisman Trophy candidate Dak Prescott 48-31 on the road in Week 6 as a 2.5-point road dog.

Alabama (5-1 SU, 1-5 ATS) is coming off a narrow 14-13 win over Arkansas in Week 7 but the Crimson Tide largely struggled in the win while getting outgained in total yardage by the Razorbacks 335-227 while fumbling a whopping four times on special teams.

"I think the thing that motivated us, helped us play so hard this week, was the loss (to Mississippi)," quarterback Blake Sims said. "The loss hurt us so bad, because we knew we (were) probably better than the other team

Alabama failed to cover the spread as a 9-point road favorite against Arkansas to fall to 0-2 ATS over their last two games.

The Texas A&M Aggies may have lost two straight games, but I’m not impressed with Alabama this season and think the Aggies will have a great shot to, not only cover the spread, but to win outright.

I like the fact that A&M has gone 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games following a double-digit home loss and believe they will really play well for Kevin Sumlin against the Crimson Tide this weekend.

Alabama is just 1-4 ATS in their last five conference games, a dismal 1-4-1 ATS in their last half-dozen home games and a discouraging 1-8-1 ATS in their last 10 games overall.

I like Texas A&M to cover at the very least!
