Week 4 of college football action is here and if you like to bet on the over/under of total points scored per game then keep reading for my college football week 4 over/under analysis.
College Football Week 4 Over/Under Point Totals
Thursday, Sep 19
Houston vs. Tulane: 63 ½
Houston averages over 30 and allows an average of over 32. Tulane has a decent defense, but this figures to be a shootout.
Friday, Sep 20
Air Force vs. Boise State: 50 ½
Both these squads have decent defenses. Opponents only average 15 against Air Force. Boise State’s opponents only average 16. It feels like an under game on Friday night over the blue field in Idaho.
Saturday, Sep 21
Central Michigan vs. Miami Florida: 50
Miami Florida scored 63 versus Bethune-Cookman. The Hurricanes have struggled to keep teams from scoring. Central Michigan should post just enough points to get the over in a blowout loss to the Hurricanes.
Western Michigan vs. Syracuse: 63 ½
Syracuse is again a bad football team. In back-to-back losses to Maryland and Clemson, the Orange have allowed a combined total of 104 points. Western Michigan averages 40.7 points per game. This should go over by a mile.
Colorado vs. Arizona State: 54 ½
Yes, Colorado gives up a lot of points and scores a lot of points, but ASU has an excellent defense. It might be the second-best in the Pac 12 after Utah’s. Think under to cash.
California vs. Ole Miss: 43 ½
The total seems low for a college game until we realize that California only allows 16.3 points per. The Landsharks aren’t back, but Ole Miss only allows 20.3 points per. Here’s another that figures to go under.
Kentucky vs. Mississippi State: 50
All 3 of Mississippi State’s games have gone over. All 3 of Kentucky’s games have gone over. Both these teams will score points. Expect an over contest.
Tennessee vs. Florida: 52
Tennessee is a bad football team while Florida lost Feleipe Franks for the season. Under all the way.
West Virginia vs. Kansas: 50 ½
The Mountaineers got their offense going in a 44-27 win over NC State in Week 3. The Jayhawks dropped 48 onto Boston College. Yeah…this goes over.
