Apparently, it’s no Deshaun Watson – no problem as unbeaten and second-ranked Clemson prepares to host Boston College in Week 4. Elsewhere, Miami will look to get past Toledo and the same goes for South Carolina against visiting Louisiana Tech.

If you’re looking for a few smart Week 4 college football picks, then you’ve come to the right place people! Now, let’s rock and roll!

Smart Picks College Football Week 4

Boston College Eagles (1-2) at Clemson Tigers (3-0)
When: Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 3:30 PM ET
Where: Clemson Memorial Stadium, Clemson, South Carolina
Odds: Clemson Tigers -32.5
Total: 52
TV: ESPN2
Stream: Watch ESPN

Analysis: Boston College has gotten dominated in two straight games including their 49-20 Week 3 loss to Notre Dames as a 14-point home underdog. Clemson and new starting quarterback Kelly Bryant has looked increasingly better with each passing game, including their phenomenal 47-21 beatdown of nationally-ranked Louisville last weekend, which prompted former superstar Deshaun Watson to say that Bryant “is going to be better than me.”

Boston College is 2-5 ATS in their L/7 games against a team with a winning record while Clemson is 4-0 ATS in their last four home games and 5-0 ATS in their last five games in the month of September. Clemson uses its powerful defensive line and another solid effort from Kelly to cover the big spread in this one!

Smart Week 4 Pick: Clemson -32.5

Toledo Rockets (3-0) at Miami-FL Hurricanes (1-0)
When: Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 3:30 PM ET
Where: Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, Florida
Odds: Miami-FL Hurricanes -14.5
Total: 57.5
TV: ACCN

Analysis: Miami is playing their first game since their opener because of Hurricane Irma, but Toledo has scored at least 37 points in all three of their games this season, including their stunning 54-51 win over Tulsa last weekend.

Rockets quarterback Logan Woodside is playing out of his mind right now and comes into this contest off a six-TD performance. Toledo is a blistering 8-1-1 ATS in their last 10 games in September and 14-2 ATS in their last 16 road games. That’s good enough for an ATS cover at the very least people, especially with Miami going 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall.

Smart Week 4 Pick: Toledo +14.5

LA Tech Bulldogs (2-1) at South Carolina Gamecocks (2-1)
When: Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 3:30 PM ET
Where: Williams-Brice Stadium, Columbia, South Carolina
Odds: South Carolina Gamecocks -8.5
Total: 53
TV: SEC

Analysis: The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs may have beaten Western Kentucky 23-22 last weekend, but I can’t get past their 57-21 smackdown loss to Mississippi State in Week 2. While South Carolina isn’t nearly as explosive as the Bulldogs are this season, the Gamecocks will get the win and narrow ATS cover seeing as how they’re probably a bit ticked off following their 23-13 home loss to Kentucky this past weekend and looked really solid in beating both, NC State and Mizzou in their first two games. Louisiana Tech is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 non-conference games while South Carolina has gone 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games after failing to cover the spread in their previous game.

Smart Week 4 Pick: South Carolina -8.5
