Red Raiders Vs. Horned Frogs Betting Trends
Red Raiders head coach, and Ryan Gosling look-a-like, Kliff Kingsbury is one of the best young coaches in all of college football, but his Texas Tech Red Raiders have struggled mightily this season with a 3-4 record. Texas Tech can’t stop teams on the defensive side of the ball but they are 10th in the FBS with 330.4 passing yards per game.
"If that’s what we’re having success at, we’ll keep doing it," Kingsbury said. "At the end of the day, we’ve got to be able to throw it and win on the outside with our receivers and that is something that’s still coming along."

This past weekend TCU, as 10.5-point home favorites, routed #15 Oklahoma State University 42-9. QB Trevone Boykin is completing 59.1 percent of his passes for 14 touchdowns and three interceptions on the season. Throw in his 346 rushing yards and three touchdowns , he is the key to this explosive TCU offense. The Horned Frogs are 11-4 SU when Boykin scores at least two touchdowns.
Wideout Josh Doctson was the recipient of 2 touchdowns vs OSU last week and leads TCU with 497 receiving yards on the season. Running back B.J. Catalon leads the Horned Frogs with 370 rushing yards and he’s scored at least one touchdown in every game this season.
Defensively, the TCU Horned Frogs are allowing 20.7 points, 359.5 yards, and they’ve forced 17 turnovers and 21 sacks. Paul Dawson leads TCU with 68 tackles and Davion Pierson has 3.5 sacks.
Texas Tech Vs. TCU Betting Prediction
Both teams can put up the yards and points. So I expected a high total, but 70.5 is very light since both teams score a combined average of more than 75 points per game. Bet the over and I expect the Red Raiders to cover.
