Top Betting Picks College Football Week 9

With another week of college football betting action in the books, I have a trio of top betting picks for College Football Week 9 action.

Top Betting Picks College Football Week 9

#2 Clemson at Florida State
When: Saturday, Oct. 27 at 12:00 pm ET
Where: Doak Campbell Stadium, Tallahassee, FL
Odds: Clemson -13.5

Analysis: Clemson’s been on a roll. The Tigers have outscored their last couple of opponents a combined 104-10. They dominated Wake Forest 63-3 on Oct. 6. They demolished Top 20 ranked NC State 41-7 in Week 8.

Often, Clemson versus Florida State garners attention. It might not this time because Florida State has no shot of keeping it close. Not even reading trends in this one just because the Tigers are loaded while Florida State has a 4-3 SU record.

Even though the line dropped 4 points from Clemson -17.5, still all over the Tigers. They’ll cover. Don’t be surprised if Clemson beats FSU by 30 on Saturday.

Pick: Clemson

Kansas State at #8 Oklahoma
When: Saturday, Oct. 27 at 2:30 pm ET
Where: Memorial Stadium, Norman, OK
Odds: Oklahoma -23.5

Analysis: Kansas State only averages 23.3 per. The Wildcats will try to keep the ball from Oklahoma and quarterback Kyler Murray’s hands. Kansas State won’t have luck doing that because Oklahoma forces you to play their style.

Sooners average 48.6 points. They hung 52 onto TCU in a huge road win in Week 8. TCU’s defense statistically ranked first in the Big 12. Oklahoma should demolish Kansas State by 30 to 40 on Oct. 27.

Pick: Oklahoma

#6 Texas at Oklahoma State
When: Saturday, Oct. 27 at 8:00 pm ET
Where: Boone Pickens Stadium, Stillwater, OK
Odds: Texas -2.5

Analysis: Texas Longhorns have been on a roll since the upset loss to Maryland in Week 1. Longhorns have gone 6-0 SU and 3-3 ATS. Texas has won games by outscoring opponents. They’ve also won a couple by locking down opponents.

Oklahoma State averages over 39 points per game, though. Texas must stick with the Cowboys on the scoreboard. They pulled that off against rival Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry. Not sure Texas can pull it off against the Cowboys on Saturday.

Pick: Oklahoma State
