UNLV Rebels vs. Air Force Falcons

UNLV has been waiting for a game like this

With a powerful offense that has the ability to what seems like score on every drive their defense has gone missing, allowing them to score but lose games in the process with a current .500 record. The Falcons understand that they have had offensive issues all season but they have stood out on defense really limiting Notre Dame in what they wanted to do to them. I think that this will be a good game to watch as Air Force brings something extra to the table against this Rebels team.

UNLV Rebels vs. Air Force Falcons
The UNLV Rebels and the Air Force Falcons meet in the NCAAF week 13.
Starts: 11/19/2013 9:30PM
Falcon Stadium, 2302 Cadet Drive
Colorado Springs, Colorado

The UNLV Rebels have shown a great offensive air attack, with their QB throwing for almost 2200 yards and 17 touchdowns and their running back cleaning house with 11 touchdowns this year. Their receivers have also shown up scoring almost from anywhere, but their defense has let so many opportunities pass by that if they get stopped down the stretch they lose.

Air Force knows that they have the defense to really frustrate a team like the Rebels but they need to be able to score the football if they want to win, something that is not as easy for them as they would like. I really think they will turn to the running game because of their wildcat option from the QB, they will look to catch UNLV off guard with some of their trick plays to keep the drive alive and moving the chains.

What to Expect:

As good as the Falcons are on defense I think that the Rebels make a stand in this one and get the win in the end; they know that if they can win their last 3 games they have a big chance of making a bowl game, something they have not done in a few seasons. I like UNLV on the road in this one to make the right plays late in the game and steal this win from the Air Force.
