Upset Picks College Football Week 7

If you’re looking to increase the annual college football betting bankroll by cashing in on underdogs that are offering upset value, then you should know that a pair of Week 7 Pac-12 pairings and one SEC showdown are all offering the upset value that you’re looking for.

With the start of a brand new week quickly approaching, let’s get started.

Upset Picks College Football Week 7

No. 5 Washington Huskies (6-0) at Arizona State Sun Devils (2-3)
When: Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 12:00 PM ET
Where: Sun Devil Stadium, Tempe, Arizona
TV: ESPN
Odds: Arizona State +17

Analysis: Washington throttled Cal 39-7 on Saturday and the Huskies won’t have many problems beating an Arizona State team that has suffered a pair of heartbreaking losses in their last three games including their 34-24 Week 6 loss against Stanford, but I really like Sun Devils quarterback Manny Wilkins and I believe Arizona State will keep the final score closer to 10 points or maybe two touchdowns at most than the 17 points the spread currently sits at.

The Sun Devils are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 home games and 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games against a team with a winning record. While I like Washington to reach the four-team College Football Playoff for the second straight year this season, the Huskies are just 2-14-2 ATS in the last 18 meetings against the Sun Devils and 0-6 ATS in their last six road dates against Arizona State.

The Sun Devils will cover the 17-point spread and is my top college football Week 7 upset pick.

Upset Pick Week 7: Arizona State +17

Utah Utes (4-1) at No. 13 USC Trojans (5-1)
When: Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 12:00 PM ET
Where: Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles, California
TV: ABC
Odds: Utah +13

Analysis: No. 13 USC may be playing at home in their Week 7 Pac-12 matchup against Utah, but I like the Utes to get the easy ATS cover despite the fact that they suffered their first loss of the season this past weekend by falling at Stanford 23-20. Utah averages just 3.5 fewer points per game than the Trojans but they’re the better defensive team in this matchup as they allow 5.2 fewer points per game defensively and will face a USC team that has watched quarterback Sam Darnold toss one interception in each of his last three games after tossing two picks in each of his three previous games, for a total of nine on the season after throwing an identical nine in 10 starts last season.

Utah has a really good – and underrated quarterback in Tyler Huntley and a defense that hasn’t allowed more than 24 points in any game this season and that tells me that USC just won’t get the separation they’ll need in order to cover the spread as nearly two-touchdown home favorites. The Utes are 5-0 ATS in their last five road games and 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven conference games while USC has gone 1-4 ATS in their last five games following an SU win and 0-4 ATS in their last four games overall.

A 13-point spread is too high not to back Utah as a college football Week 7 upset pick.

Upset Pick Week 7: Utah +13

Texas A&M Aggies (4-2) at Florida Gators (3-2)
When: Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 12:00 PM ET
Where: Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, Gainesville, Florida
TV: ESPN2
Odds: Texas A&M +3

Analysis: Texas A&M may have lost to No. 1 Alabama in Week 6, but the Aggies put up a great effort in falling to the Crimson Tide 27-19 and are now my pick to get the outright road win against a Florida Gators team that got humbled in their narrow 17-16 home loss to LSU this past weekend.

Texas A&M has the far more potent offense in this SEC showdown and allows just over three points per game more than the Gators defensively. More importantly, I like the growth I’m seeing out of A&M quarterback Kellen Mond and I believe he’s going to outplay Florida counterpart Feleipe Franks who has thrown just one touchdown over his last three games. Texas A&M has gone 3-0-1 ATS in their last four games while Florida has gone 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games following an ATS win and 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a SU loss. The Aggies cover the chalk – by getting the outright road win!

Though the 3-point spread may sound like a tough sell, take the Aggies to upset the Gators this week.

Upset Pick Week 7: Texas A&M +3
